Yeah I agree with Peter! The commentary really gives the building process another dimension! I picked up many tips! Have A Super Week Peter & JD!.....Gus
Jimmy I am glad you're getting more sponsors and using their new tools. I'll pay attention in your videos 6 months from now to see which ones you're still using. Keep up the good work.
Jimmy I'm glad you saved the hinges jig for a time when you described what you were doing. We always lean something but you did an excellent job making something difficult and frustrating, seam like it can be done bettter, faster, and easier. Rockler was lucky to get you to showcase some of their products. Nice job.
I hope you see this, Jimmy. You're a genius. You embody the mantra of "smarter not harder" and all of your tips and Ideas are so helpful! Keep it up, brother!
Really glad Rockler had you on their channel Jimmy! The door installation jig is a great idea, will have to keep that in mind. Will have to check out Rockler's countersink bit. - Jim
Jimmy. Thank You so much for Your work! You are a very talented man. I love what You are doing. I love how You do it. You inspire me. My kids love to watch Your videos. We wish You all the best and thank You so much!!!
You are so good at these videos Rockler has to be very pleased. Nice gear and you made them look great. Anybody else covering as much info the video would have been a 5 part all day affair, unwatchable by anyone but retired hobbyists who just haven't discovered you yet.
"I don't want the visual to influence what I think I'm feeling" I do the exact same thing, but you put it in words perfectly. I bet Rockler is happy to have you on board.
You are truly a inspiration to people like myself starting out in making quality items in either wood or metal or either thank you for the amazing videos DiResta
Just got that Countersink set from them for Christmas. Love the hinge template trick. Another great video to put in the mush of my brain for future use. Thanks Jimmy have a great day!
Nicely done. The form is identical to an antique one that I picked up in England, though it was done with burl and had a top piece as well. I love your jig for the doors. I had never thought of that approach.

I like the corner clamps for assembling the boxes. Assembling boxes alone is a pain without those especially if you are on the clock. I own an authentic midcentury german wardrobe. They use special hardware so it disassembles for transport and the doors are made from lumber core plywood. I refinished it with 20 coats of lacquer with a wet sanding and buffed it out with the porter cable sander polisher and a series of compounds to a high mirror gloss.
Nice tip on the full length hinge story stick. I've use a short one that is OK if you are only doing two hinges. For three or more your way is much better. Thanks for sharing!
Another great video. I just started watching these videos. I am an avid woodworker/maker and Jimmy you have lots of great tips. Its nice to see others struggle in a small shop as I do. Sorry!
Great build I do like the fact that you planed for moving it and setting it up. I built a pair of six foot tall book cases for my youngest daughter that I wish I would have had that for thought.
Thanks for the video! It inspires me to be more proficient in my cabinet builds, which seem to take forever! I love Rockler and their products. I have those bandy clamps and they are fantastic! Lots of great tips in the video. Thanks again,
Might have to get some of those handi-clamps. It's really helpful to see these tools in use by you Jimmy. Definitely gives a better idea of how they work. Keep it up Jimmy. I keep fearing that some network is going to take you away from us. Hope it doesn't happen.
I always learn a lot watching you work. I have improved my speed and quality of work from adopting many of your methods. Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge.
Jimmy, You Da Man! Nice to have a sponsor with tools you like? LOL! Thanks for the new blade comment. Does Murphy lend a hand every now and then? Or is he just staying with me? :) Ten sheets of plywood no waste. Well done!
