Really thankful for your breakdowns, because you somehow have the same taste as me and as a guitar player / producer who was introduced to hip-hop through MF DOOM back in 2009 and became obsessed with it + neo-soul + funk + jazz + rnb + soul among many other genres of music, but having grown up on rock / metal and pop-punk as a child. Did a bit of a 180 and studied music production, with a particular interest in dillatime. Currently learning how to play and sing a handful of D'Angelo tracks. Some of my first beats were my trying to copy MM Food sampling old cartoons. Been thinking about learning the bass now because it just looks like so much fun. Anyway shit none of this is relevant but this video was incredibly creative. You deserve more subs honestly.

But I was immediately hooked by the concept of the self-aware sample voices. Brilliant move. This was also when I realized I had not hit that subscribe button and needed to remedy that immediately.
This was really creative. Having the characters have an interest yet conversation was wicked. There’s so many videos explaining MF DOOM but this twist was fire.

Great work with this video and a surprising turn with the voices! I was also surprised that the band Cortex, that was sampled for the song One Beer, was Scandinavian (as I'm Swedish). I'd to look it up as I've never heard they were Scandinavian and I think you've got it mixed together. The sample comes from a French band called Cortex, but there was also a Swedish band called Cortex (though in a different genre). Great work anyway - keep it up! :)
Holy crap - as someone who downloaded a lot of DOOM from different sources, it was always weird / thrilling to hear different versions (like on spotify) using different samples in some places, or slightly different production techniques, that would give me the same "hang on - did you hear that?". Hearing this, at first I thought it was the same thing - different version, different words... before realizing what you did. Brilliant. Now to watch the video. Doomsday, Madvillainy are held at the highest regard appropriately, but Mouse and the Mask and Mm..Food are the most enjoyable to listen to IMO. DOOM in his most conductive context. RIP. Clever video. This is the type of original content RUclips needs much more of
