My second ever bike was a 2007 Vstrom; I put 38k miles on it in less than three years, including 2 cross/around-the-country trips. IMHO one of the bikes that will go down in history as one of the best, most dependable and versatile bikes ever built!
@@MattVerleyman I love this with one exception the mounting choice. Is there any way to take it further and mount like the sw -motech mounts. Mounting on engine takes all that force into the case. I don’t like that.

I didn't come across that one while doing my research...will it fit around the Delkevic exhaust?
They do not make a skidplate for the DL
