😭😂 sometimes I record early in the morning or at night, usually in my brighter videos its the middle of the day and we get decent natural light. But I think this time I had forgot to change the settings. One of these days I will get a decent consistant lighting setup!

Came back to this song after having a childhood friend do this , and just went through the funeral .... i wanted to write a song or two for him in tribute and this song felt like the thing i needed to hear despite hitting me like a truck even more now when i had my own attempted suicide years and years ago . Ill miss you brother . Save a spot in heaven for me .

Awesome jam brother. There's really nothing I can hate on. It's got everything that moves me. God job. I know that's subjective, but everybody doesn't like the same jam I guess. Can't wait to see the rest of the album

I think you’ll like Man Ov God, it’s Brook Reeves solo deathcore rap project.

It's not my thing overall. I liked the first track he dropped but definitely looking forward to more and seeing where he takes it.

I hear what you’re saying about suicidal thoughts/suicide. I couldn’t tell clearly if you were saying people that commit suicide are selfish or not, but what I will say is if you were, that is so far from true. First off, a lot of people that commit suicide do it from feeling unloved, and a lot of the time their depression is also chemical imbalance. Second, how do you think saying what you said in your video is going to help someone that’s having suicidal thoughts? It won’t, it will make it worse. Now, I’m a born again Christian and, of course, I agree with what you’re saying about Jesus Christ being the only solution, but I’d encourage you to think about the way you just put that message out there for people to hear in that way. I think back to before I was saved and if I had suicidal thoughts and someone’s encouragement to me was that I need to trust God and he’s the only solution, I feel like it would put me further from God. We do indeed need to preach the love of God, but sometimes when it comes to mental health, there’s other ways to encourage people before diving into witnessing. Of course I’m aware this comment will not change your mind, but I felt like writing it anyways. That’s all I have to say, sorry if this is really long.

I was definitely struggling to get my full thoughts in order and in place. I hear what you are saying. I believe what I tried to say was that for a long while over the years I had thought that people who did follow through with the act were being selfish. But now I see that mental health plays a bigger part. I don't really struggle with mental health much but it is something I have been learning more about and trying harder to understand as my wife struggles a bit with her mental health. I do however think that the "act" itself of suicide is potentially selfish though the person doing it is probably not in their "right" mind so to speak. It is definitely something driven from the enemy, to put such lies over someone that they aren't worth it, that life is not worth living. I think we (as in everyone in the world) need to work better on loving people. People shouldn't have to be in the situation where they feel unloved. but we need to recognize when someone needs an extra loving hand. but the whole point is love. and that is the message of Jesus, we need to love everyone and do it well. I think that was my only lacking point in the song was that there wasn't really a defined set path for someone who is dealing with those thoughts to go, other than that they are not alone in those thoughts. I appreciate your comment very much, I am definitely trying to work on getting my points across straight, but honestly I don't feel like the best speaker. I hope anyone who comes across this video reaches out and gets the help they need. and through that gives a relationship with Jesus a chance. He gives us the peace and strength to live through tough times!
