Always like seeing your loco repair videos, but good to see something different.
This is exactly the sort of video I was trying to find, I need to add pickups to an old chassis so cant wait to see how you do it in the next video or so.
Good project
Great video bill 👍 can't wait for part two 😀 keep up the good work 👏 😊
I use oasis instead of polystyrene and real steam coal pulverised in a plastic bag looks great and the tiny varied varied sizes just like the real thing 😊
Great idea using clingfilm - I will use that trick in the future for coal wagons.
That Was A Clever Idea For The Drawbar, oobill ,Very Impressed, And A Verry Useful Tip,Once Again Great Ideas,Helpful Tips,Clear Instructions,Great Video, Can't Waiit for Part 2.......!
Can't wait for part 2. Great video, Jersey Bill
Hey Bill, enjoying the videos, just wanted to say thanks for your tutorial videos on how to do DC wiring (power buses, point motors, etc) managed to set up my shunting layout with no issues thanks to your videos.
This is going be useful. I was going to try making some Tenders based on the Dapol wagon/van kits.
Great video Bill, looking forward to the next instalment. Yet another good method of removable coal load. You are skilled with the scalp and drill, too close for my liking 👍 All best Marc from Leighton Buzzard
Amazing, i was actually running my Caledonian pug and tender today with guitar wire pickups copied from you a few years ago. Looking forward to seeing this upgrade.
I built one a few years back and should post it as it is a little bit different.
Great little project👍
marvellous model bashing there.. Wondered what the cling film was for and using baking powder and superglue. Genius! I have two ex-Caley Pugs that I renumbered/repainted into BR livery. Gonna have to source some of those resources. Marvellous" Thanks
Hi there OO Bill great videos on correcting loco faults and the growing number of very successful repairs. Where did “The gnomes legs” tee shirt come from???. British Rail in Japan.
I do wonder how easy it would be to do something similar for Bachmann's Thomas range, Edward in particular struggles with points as he only has pickups on the four small driving wheels
love the sracth building use help my ex but could not due much due fake nails xx
Bill I have been watching your channel regularly. This week I was watching you prepare the coal load which I have to do on several of my wagons. Unfortunately I could not find the coal load packet you were using Peptim scenic. Did I get the name right.
I got it from a seller on ebay called fourstrawberries
Thanks very much Bill
Bill, an oil burner would also be another option using one of the Slater's 12t rectangular tank wagons. I just happen to have the components sitting on my work bench. BTW, did you draw the artwork for the Gnome's Legs? The cèilidh music is a great out-trow. Thanks for doing this series.
The artwork isn't drawn by me but is designed by me. The music is written, performed, recorded and produced by myself though. Not ceilidh though it's polka. ;)
