Was the clone trooper who fired a rocket at Ahsoka crazy? The Coruscant Guard was much different than other clones, especially since they were mainly stationed on Coruscant and followed the command of Palpatine. Obviously Commander Fox had a much different personality as well. The shock troopers are definitely different.
What do you think of shock troopers?

They were cool in the CW Movie and first few seasons, but then were made look like bad guys
oh the fives one was justified as fives was going to use lethal force but the rocket launcher was a bit overkill

Thank you! I keep trying to explain how justified Fox was(hes my favorite commander) and Fives fans just keep telling me how stupid I am for defending him since he’s so bad and evil
Not to mention Ahsoka’s a teenager! Jedi or not, the fact that trooper looked at someone who was clearly a child and still took out a literal rocket launcher! Insane
"jedi or not" dude truly isn't paying attention to the fact thats shes already been in combat so they know her abilities
They're pretty cool. I like their armor paint pattern, and they definitely are a purpose in the Grand Army. However I do agree that they employ questionable and outright dangerous tactics to teach their objectives. They might not know just how powerful they are, which might be the reason why they seem to always mess up.

To take out a rocket launcher while the rest of the troopers are firing non lethal rounds says enough 😂
I don't think that clone was crazy. He was alerted by Fox earlier that Ahsoka killed clones, and even if he was later notified that she wasn't the killer or just to stun her but not rescinding the murder accusation, they would not take a chance on a Jedi.

Corscant guard isn’t bad at all fighting wise. Yeah they might use excessive force at times, but they generally get the job done. We only see the CG failing on the screen, but in reality these fails are few and far between. They serve their purpose, and in the battle of Corscant, they were like the only defense force on the ground.

Why so much hate on the coruscant guard? no damn crap they act this way, they never saw combat so they itch to take action in some way. Also good video but mainly I love Shock Troopers and from Tales of the Empire we were hinted at something about the coruscant guard. We see one of them mentioning Order 66 he doesn't say it but we can understand they knew about it when they said “And tomorrow the Jedi will be no more”. To me, it sounds as if Palpatine had his intentions with the coruscant guard, especially with the possibility of why truly Fox took that shot on fives which makes me defend Fox and the other shock troopers even more. Alright, honestly people need to understand situations such as hostage situations. Are you telling me that Fives should not have been shot? It's like real life in a way, any person in their right mind would fire back, especially in the military or police training/exercises. Of course, he could have stunned but I'm telling you this, Fox did warn fives but he refused and would possibly have shot which declares his situation to be justified. For Ahsoka idk for me, I guess that's just what “shock troopers” are meant for.😂 However nice video mate keep going.
I'd say the hate is more on Fox and his shock trooper unit. I'd argue there's nothing easily likeable about Fox because of how he's characterised compared to other clones: 1) He was never shown to see action off of courascant so he's basically the national guard; whilst the other clones bust their ass risking their lives he's comfy and safe. 2) Fives and ahsoka were around since the first season of the CW and Fox killed his own brother in cold blood and a total dick throughout the whole Ahsoka incident, whereas many other clone CO's like Rex, Cody, Wolffe, Ponds were depicted as more compassionate/lenient. Along with that, other shock trooper CO's like Thorn, Thire and Stone are completely different to Fox and aren't hated because a) they actually went on missions off-world and b) weren't complete assholes. To be honest from what i've seen he doesn't really have any redeeming feats so the hate is justified imo.
@@eht___neI respect your opinion but think, all Fox saw was a maniac holding Anakin and Rex as hostages, Fox quite literally told him to stand down but what did he do? He could've done it smarter yet went for the pistol, and as I said above it was most likely the chancellor ordering Fox around to make sure nothing could interrupt his plan for order 66 to take place. Anyone would have done what Fox would have by taking that shot. I like fives but it's not a good reason to hate a character just for taking action from how or what the situation was or is, think of it what would you do? Get shot or shoot him? It's a life or death situation to the point where it's either you shoot or get shot and I'm telling you a commander trained in the military, especially through tactics were given that specific understanding of “not getting shot”. I said I respect your opinion but I would like you to reread the first section of my comment above.
