You are 100% right. Whenever I ask bars of they gonna have the UFC ppv playing they say no, its too expensive. I researched it and the licensing or wtvr is like 2 to 3 grand. I never realized it was based off the occupancy of the building tho. So, basically the only way a bar will do it is if they can fill the house that night. Makes sense why you only really see it happening in vegas. I can never find a bar doing PPV.
Stream your ppv's to youtube membership you can charge whatever you like for that tier. Doing that also makes it way easier to take down bootlegs since it's streamed directly to youtube.
