Know nothing about the technicals of fencing, but Vio seems to have a very nimble upper body compared to Yao. Probably a good core from not having arms and a smaller, lighter body.
@Gary Choopper Funny. I bet you're the same kind of person that doesn't like being complimented on your looks by girls or by other people huh? :] If we're going with your creep logic.
This was wonderful fencing match. I'm really sad that tribunes were nearly empty and you can hear individual clapping sounds. They (all paralympians) deserve as wide audience cheering as sportsman and sportsmen on Olympics. They overcome their handicap and can do stuff that even healthy people with four limbs and no restrictions can't do.
And she’s champion again in 2020 Para Olympiad, in Tokyo 2021 … against Jingjing Zhou of China 15-9 the same opponent in final at Rio de Janeiro 2016 …
I'm all for Paralympic sports right... but come on there are regular Olympic sports that shouldn't exist and Paralympic sports that shouldn't exist and this is one Paralympic sport that shouldn't exist
I absolutely hate china as a country but really love their people and their determination i can see sense of respect in the chinese girl before and after the match. 🙏🏻🇮🇳
Incredible how disrespectful the Italian was, not really we all knew that she would be gloating like that. Screaming after every point was hard to watch!
Was looking for this comment, I'm glad someone pointed this out, I wanted her to lose so badly. She keeps yelling after points when she's clearly going to win. It's disgusting how more people arent mentioning it.
I completely respect both of them, but am I the only one that sees the young girl has waaayy more room to move forward and the champion was like more strapped in and couldn’t move? That seems like a crazy advantage right??😕
Nah they were both strapped similarly, the real advantages came from the Italian girl being younger and faster, also by not being paralyzed from the waist down allows her to be move a lot better, the chinese girl didnt stand a chance.

The incredible fact is that Vio doesn't have hands.. To me it's mind-blowing how she could win in a sword duel against the Champion (who has hands!)
But I feel like the extension she has of the sword being attached to the arm is an advantage tho when you don’t have to grip it
Well, they both are in the Paralympics, so, they could probably defeat any of us in the comments.
@@2nerC9 However, not having wrist mobility is a huge drawback when fencing.
@@2nerC9 non esiste, le manca tutta la mobilità articolare dal gomito in giù (polso ecc.), è uno svantaggio enorme
