these people have a low perception of Heat players in part because they think Spo gets the most outta them and they'd turn to pumpkins when they leave.
This is something I hate about the NBA that you don't see in any other sport. Reporters sit around and contemplate different trades like little boys playing with basketball cards and when they come up with something interesting, they report it like the general managers were discussing it, with headlines like "heat could trade (enter player's name) to (enter teams name.)" These are human beings and their lives that they are toying with. Remember how much it upset Tyler Hero a couple of years ago even when Riles told him it was nothing?
“Right now” Tobin let’s be honest 6 months ago we couldn’t give Herro 2x for Trae Young. But I wouldn’t make that fake trade either not giving up on ware yet to see us pass over knecht. I trust ware will be a star player for us.
Saw the same trade and said no, this is Tyler’s best year yet, Duncan is an amazing bench piece that provides us floor spacing and scoring, Ware has such a high ceiling we really shouldn’t trade him now, and a 1st round pick when we are already low on them AND we could save that pick for when jimmy leaves to rebuild ALL for inefficient Trae Young? Awful trade oh my god 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Everything you said sounds perfectly reasonable to me...I mean except Philly (that team is a complete mess). Can't compare Jimmy to Gainis when Gianis just put up 60 in a regular season game on a random Tuesday. Jimmy was struggling to get over 10 points Big Diff. Heat are what they are until further notice...a play in team. 😔

Hell yeah I would. What are we talking about? They do different things. Trae is a whole offensive engine, avg 11.6 assists a game. Terry sucks right now, but when he gets right he can do a lot of the stuff herro can. Trae/jimmy/bam and we can keep jjj/jovic in this scenario. Time is ticking on the jimmy build, either give him the pieces to win now or blow it up.
@@chardrive he def doesn’t know ball lol. Trae has a horrible contract, shoots worse from 3, and is slightly older. @@dchew001 okay, he can get assists, but he shoots worse from 3 than Tyler (tyler shooting Steph curry numbers with 9 threes a game) averages 5 TOs per game, has an awful contract to deal with, is older than Tyler, can’t play off ball, can’t shoot free throws as well as Tyler (Tyler literally holds a heat record for this lol) and Trae young is literally a traffic cone on defense while Tyler has stepped up his defense this season and is at least viable. It’s called selling high on role-player Tyler Herro and buying low on Allstar Trae Young. Keep passing on Allstar trades while your core ages into oblivion…
Tyler is more than a role player. If anything, he’s one of our few stars. He’s more efficient than Trae, shoots a higher % from 3 at 9-10 threes a game, and holds a cheaper contract. You’d be smoking crack to trade Tyler for Trae LOL
@ First off, Herro is not maintaining his current efficiency all season long, it will come back down. Second, if you swap them and put Jimmy, Bam, and Rozier next to Trae Young, he will become much more efficient just simply because he will be playing besides the best supporting cast he has ever had by far. He would also easily lead the league in assists at the same time, as I’m sure you wouldn’t argue that the playmaking gap is huge. The cheaper contract is your best argument, but if you don’t trade for a real Allstar caliber player like Trae Young or someone else of a similar caliber, Miami will never win a championship with their current core
