Season was pretty much over when the the Dolphins were a no show in week 2 vs the Bills. At that point I knew this team was going nowhere and we were just going to see a repeat of what we saw the 2nd half of last season.
The team is soft the Green Bay coach said that at halftime emphasizing his teams physicality. The dolphins should never score less than 24-28 points teams should be saying they have to score 30 to beat the dolphins isn’t that the reason we spent so much on offense? Why is this offense so easily nullified against good teams. Somebody anybody please explain!!
Grier is the problem-he’s always looked at first level player and when we need the second level their never ready to play (too old/ too young) every other team has injuries but the dolphins haven’t been able to handle injuries in the Grier era.
I like Mike as a guy but sorry we know what this regime is 3 years in. It is NOT going to change. Until Ross makes the apparently tough decision to fire Grier into the sun and start a new culture, this is exactly what you are going to get over and over again. As some point even the most die hard fans are going to just become apathetic. I have been a fan for almost 40 years, and have defended this team time after time. One of the most embarrassing things a football team can be called is SOFT...and here we are. It starts at the top, and for whatever good they have done, both MM and Grier are Beta personalities. The math just does not math.
Take a look at Tua's pregame, on the field "Pep Talk" to the team. It tells one everything one needs to know about the Dolphins franchise. They are not a serious NFL team. They have a loser culture and are marshmallow soft.
Can ESPN please talk about Trevor Lawrence concussion. He did something Tua did he had a fencing posture. Can he get same media coverage they gave Tua? I doubt it was worth a shot
Exactly they have failed, time for Ross to wake up and move on. Grier should have already been fired. There should already be a committee searching for the new GM. The longer Ross waits to hire a new GM the less time that person will have to prepare for the draft.
I knew they were going to lose this game I saw right before the game those guys didn't want to be there. Miami had a shot to at least tie the game up in the end except Mcdaniel got cute at the goal line like he usually does. They would've been down by 8-9 pts. You can coach guys but the players execute the plays, they are just not good in the cold it's been like that for years I'm used to that as a fan. Miami had to play a perfect game and they didn't especially when washington fumbled on the punt return. Tampa bay and Jacksonville can't play in the cold either..... so there we go.
The same problems that this team had since McD’s first season still happen now in his third season, same mental breakdowns, still can’t call a play on time, won’t stick to the run, and can’t win big games, year three and no improvement. Yes McD has to go, go get Mike Vrabel.
My number one issue with mcdaniel is his lack of passion, when i heard him tell the team he always would rather win by 2 point then blow opponents out i knew he was bound to lose the locker room. The players dont wanna hear that and mostert admitted that everyone in the locker room thought mcd was tripping
I’m tired of Miami’s process for our rookie players. To see other teams allow their rookies to make their mistakes grow and learn is sickening at this point now. Something needs to change with the Miami heat’s coaching system
There is ZERO mentally toughness. When things are good, they are on a roll and build off of that momentum. The moment things start going south they collapse entirely. That's not only the coaches fault but the players also. Out of everybody on this team, the only ones I see that want to play for Miami is Tua, Achane & Seiler. The rest are just here for that overpriced paycheck they get to live in Miami. God damn shame too because Tua is extremely talented and he deserves better.
It wasn't a surprise Dolphins OWN the Rams(13-2 record lifetime). Dolphins OWN the Raiders(9-2 in the last 11 meetings). Dolphins OWN the Pats(Tua is 7-0 vs them). Packers OWN the Phins(4 straight wins 7-2 in the last 9 meetings). Tua has never lost to the Jets(5-0) and the Phins are 11-2 in the last 13 meetings, so I'd expect a win next week.
Which is why Grier should have been fired after the 2018 season. No legit coach would want to work with that dipshit. It is time for Ross to wake up. Grier should have been fire Thursday night and a committee put together to search for the next GM. Give that GM enough time to put together their scouting department so they can prepare for the draft, Also give that new GM time to put together a lost of perspective Head Coaches.
You haven't heard anything yet, my friend. You tell Hudini hockman I said he can't avoid taking phone calls on his show forever.. The guy said our quarterback is compared to Dan marino. He must answer for his crimes tobin. Bring the comdian to me, and you will be rewarded Handsomely
I mean he's good against bad teams. He needs to win in the cold and beat good teams. Beat the Texans & beat the 49ers to finish out the season. If loses both those games, no point of having him on the team.
Look I don’t know how many professional players X coaches general managers have to tell you the Tua isn’t it McDaniel is not it but it’s dolphin fans who keep making excuses how many people have to tell you they are not it how is this even a topic anymore
In my opinion McDaniel should give up play calling he won’t but he’s not a good play caller this roster needs to be revamped, but I know the salary cap is a going to make it difficult.
Ik it was a divisional matchup, but even the Raiders went on the road against a 10-1 team in chilly weather and almost pulled off the upset. Should have in my opinion.
Fire Grier. Grier hired Mike McDaniel so he is probably collateral damage. I like McD as a person and he could be a good offensive coordinator but if we want a tough team we need to start over top to bottom.
This TUA era of Dolphins football has felt like a shitstorm of negative energy for 5 years now! The intensity of the psychological warfare bullshit has been ramped up to an all-time high now.
Not the coach is the QB At the end of the day we stuck with tua next 4 years, Newton was right he has a limited arm, smh wish we can get ward. I seen enough of tua fish
I’m not going to say Bush is wrong. I’m still saying McDaniel has a lot to prove. He needs to stop being these guys friends and therapist and get tough on these guys. Whether a team is soft or tough starts with the head coach
Tua is just like Dak he is great after being down 24 ! His stats are fraudulent they do not add up to wins. You look a the Packer game stats it looks like Tua played well but if you watched the game you realize Tua did absolutely nothing during winning time. He compiled in the second half after Packers went to the prevent up 3-4 TDS. The offense is way too gadget oriented to win in frigid temps.
This is the exact same as the Marino years during the 80s and 90s. No complimentary offense, pass happy, flashy but no substance. No running game at all this year, defense is bad to mediocre. The only way Miami wins games right now is if Tua throws 40+ a game and is absolutely perfect on every single throw. One dimensional offense and a defense that can't tackle. Have their been some bad play calls? Absolutely but at some point the players have got to execute. Miami can't even score from the 1 yard line, where the good teams just hand it to their RB and let their OL make a space. Miami's defenders are there to make the play but they keep missing tackles. The best coaching on earth cannot overcome just straight up talent deficiencies. Miami is less talented than last year.
When your quarterback is so bad that you have to supplement him with the highest paid wide receiver in the league, and the 8th highest paid receiver in the league, there's no more money to put to other positions
Personnel are Grier's call. This roster is flawed and has been for a very long time. Blowing our cap money on injury-prone old stars and poor personnel management for a decade got us here. We need a new GM with a "trenches" mindset. I'm not opposed to letting McDaniel go, but the biggest problem the Dolphins have is far and away Grier.
Look Miami fails because of owner Stephen Ross. It’s been this way since he bought this effing hobby/franchise for himself. Don’t you people get it yet? Once he passes away this once proud franchise may have a prayer unless ownership is retained through family and the rest of his family members are as inept and unserious as him. Stop kidding yourselves. I know you can’t wage war with an owner because there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. Pretending it’s people he hires and fires who are at fault doesn’t work well either when he’s pulling the strings though…
Its easy to mock someone being cold when you're all comfy on your couch. When you live in a hot place, traveling to a cold one, it doesn't matter how tough you are, the cold is gonna get to you no matter what. I'm not excusing the Dolphins though, they're the softest team I've ever seen.
Reggie Bush doesn't have a clue. Chris Grier has failed this team and now he is going on his 2nd coach he is making look bad. How is it that after a 5 year "rebuild", this is still not a playoff roster? If Grier is not fired by the end of the season, then I will definitely question the ownership of this club which I have been doing for the last 15-20 years. If you can't get out of your own way then you are the problem. The reason why this team is bad is because of the failed ownership.
The truth is the failure to make the playoffs is totally the fact the had no shot at winning with the back up qbs. They would have to play at their best to have a shot at bearing GB in the cold.
You don't see them losing most of their games? You better hope they do. I agree with Bush. Get rid of McDaniel and that stupid look on his face after every catastrophic play. Tua = Noddle arm Would be nice to see him show some emotion! Get pissed off for once for Christ sake!
At most they win 2 more games. The Texans will run this team out of their stadium. The limping 49ers are too tough for McCharmin's team. Playing in the cold in Cleveland and East Rutherford NJ will probably be too daunting a task.
One of the issues, the offense has complicated routes with initial motions to throw off the defense. I get the idea, it’s a great idea with fast receivers and a quick releasing actuate QB. But the issue is, this type of offense does not work in really cold weather, lol. It’s been seen with this team that cold weather slows down the motion pre snap crap and the Phins just look like they are struggling to run the offense. Need a better game plan for cold games, I’ll email Mike later.
@@DenofLeos I would contest that statement, if it was every team, they wouldn’t be putting up +20 points. However, the system offense is not ideal when it’s cold af, but want your players to be fast off the LOS, but also do pre snap motion. If this was a game in MIA or non cold weather factor, this game would have been different. Cold weather truly is a factor to this team, not just the offense, the whole team.
The thing is, green bay isn't a real good team. They're mid and Miami made them look like a Superbowl contender. Ever since Zack Thomas and Jason Taylor left our defense has looked soft as baby $hit.
The fact that you don't think that game was embarrassing says a lot about you. Real fans want to see Grier fired, at minimum. This team was expected to be a playoff contender, and they are barely still in the hunt. Unless there is a miracle, they won't make the playoffs. Ross needs to show the fans that he gives a shit and make a statement by FIRING someone for this pathetic excuse for a football team. As far as I'm concerned the entire front office from team president down to ticket sales needs to be fired. I'm so tired of the mediocrity.
"Probably not make it the playoffs" !!!! Bro, the dolphins are cooked. Mike mcdaniel is not an nfl coach. He's a tua coach. I see why this organization continues to fail year after year.
They had no time. Played on Sunday had to fly to GB and play on Thursday. Who ever scheduled the game wanted GB to win. Dolphins had two weeks at home in warm weather then have to go GB on a short week in the cold. Meanwhile GB got to stay at home the prior week and got settled in. They had a HUGE advantage. Most teams would lose in that situation due to the travel alone.
IN MY HONEST OPINION. Mike and his baby (DEI) fake tatoo QB need to go. Mariota, Wilson & Tua all bandage DEI QB. Fire GM too. Start new hiring on your 2025 season.
Any statisticians wanna chime in? Maybe it’s that the dolphins suck against good teams, on the road, in prime time especially and that it tends to be cold in November and December in 2/3 of the nfl cities in America. Plus we are the only team (besides Dallas) that plays in warm weather but plays in a division with 3 other cold weather teams . SOOO correlation is not causation.
Grier and McDaniel neglected improving the interior part of the line on both sides of the ball. The game is won in the trenches.
Unfortunately, all the money has gone to the Offense, which couldn't even score more than 3 points against a decent team. There is no money for the trenches. Same with the Defense. seems grier needs to take football lessons and learn this basic rule great coaches implement firts in a team, then QB and RB are a nut to fulfill
Bush was right.
Grier built the Lines to be decent to avg before McDaniels but losing Wilkins and Hunt were death nails to already shaky units

I live in Northeast and its 20 degrees right now. I lived here for years....Its COLD, it affects me never mind someone from sunny Florida.
Somebody anybody please explain!!
lol QB mediocre against good teams
They have been figured out now for about a year, everybody knows except mcdufuss
Grier is the problem-he’s always looked at first level player and when we need the second level their never ready to play (too old/ too young) every other team has injuries but the dolphins haven’t been able to handle injuries in the Grier era.
Ross is the problem for hiring and not firing Grier
Good for Brooks for ripping the softies!!! Brooks did make some big hits!!!
This team has quit on itself. Listen to tuas pregame speech. 2 guys responded. Grier at the very least needs to be gone
He’s much tougher than Tua. Tua is made out of paper mache
@@lambdee7006 This is true but its like damn seems like they cast Tua Different
We gave McDaniel and Grier enough time to change the soft fact not narrative, time for both to go. Missed 23 tackles for 128 yards F N unacceptable.
Exactly they have failed, time for Ross to wake up and move on. Grier should have already been fired. There should already be a committee searching for the new GM. The longer Ross waits to hire a new GM the less time that person will have to prepare for the draft.
Hmm How Come the team doesn't go early to cold places and practice in it? Tua can at least go early and bring a couple of WRs to practice.
And yes Reggie Bush is 110% right. The coach is the biggest problem on this team not the QB.
Watch. They'll come out next game against a bad team and play like they're not soft. Like it will really mean anything.
Yes and who really cares if they beat the Jets. The season is already over.
My number one issue with mcdaniel is his lack of passion, when i heard him tell the team he always would rather win by 2 point then blow opponents out i knew he was bound to lose the locker room. The players dont wanna hear that and mostert admitted that everyone in the locker room thought mcd was tripping
This coach still can't get the team to win a game in cold weather 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I’m tired of Miami’s process for our rookie players. To see other teams allow their rookies to make their mistakes grow and learn is sickening at this point now. Something needs to change with the Miami heat’s coaching system
Reggie Bush should be the next running back coach for the Miami Dolphins 🐬
There is ZERO mentally toughness. When things are good, they are on a roll and build off of that momentum. The moment things start going south they collapse entirely. That's not only the coaches fault but the players also. Out of everybody on this team, the only ones I see that want to play for Miami is Tua, Achane & Seiler. The rest are just here for that overpriced paycheck they get to live in Miami. God damn shame too because Tua is extremely talented and he deserves better.
5-7 record seems ok, there is only one surprise, the win against the Rams - because they are a half decent team.
@@richardolney2546what's Tua's record against Allen? Just curious 😊
Well yeah it was in LA in the mild weather. If it were below 40 degrees they would have softened up.
In 3 plus years the only thing McDaniel has mastered is the deer in the headlights i have no clue what I’m doing look when the camera is on him
😂😂
The dolphin just sucked played Like Girls Thursday night but all the players aren't from South Florida to be affected by cold weather.
They played like sissy’s
Time to make some specific changes
McDaniel was our plan C for a reason. Who else was going crazy trying to hire him
Which is why Grier should have been fired after the 2018 season.
We need Mike George Vrable ASAP
We have to build a training facility in Canada, and practice there starting in October.
The Tua hate is crazy
I mean he's good against bad teams. He needs to win in the cold and beat good teams. Beat the Texans & beat the 49ers to finish out the season. If loses both those games, no point of having him on the team.
Look I don’t know how many professional players X coaches general managers have to tell you the Tua isn’t it McDaniel is not it but it’s dolphin fans who keep making excuses how many people have to tell you they are not it how is this even a topic anymore
Shula's team was a dreaded team, so its a culture problem...
I don't know what went listed with this team after J Johnson's days... but is overly sad
In my opinion McDaniel should give up play calling he won’t but he’s not a good play caller this roster needs to be revamped, but I know the salary cap is a going to make it difficult.
Yeah he needs to stop calling plays. He can draw them up pretty good. Let someone else call them.
What exactly does McDaniel do well?
No one should be fired from a team that sucks in cold weather. That's a 500 team period if you can't play in the cold
I live in Colorado…and yes, it is cold in the winter with plenty of snow. He should be fine in the cold ha
I’m not going to say Bush is wrong. I’m still saying McDaniel has a lot to prove. He needs to stop being these guys friends and therapist and get tough on these guys. Whether a team is soft or tough starts with the head coach
I would love to see Reggie Bush cold weather stats, bet they are not good
Tua is just like Dak he is great after being down 24 !
Game was just a reverse of last week vs the Patriots. Except we were the Patriots this time getting blown out.
@ that’s because we can beat terrible teams and never beat good teams. We are the Cowboys south.
The day we overcome the cold is when we get rid of McDaniels and Tua
We’ve been bad in the cold for 50 years. Two position changes won’t change our cold weakness. We need a training facility in a cold place.
But I agree Mike McDaniel has to go
@@joesciacca1225 I believe the QB and the coach are connected they both should be cut
That would never happen, because narrative is to keep trying prove that Flores was wrong about tua
Dude is from Hawaii what do you expect?
I miss Zack Thomas and Jason Taylor
Those dudes didn’t give a crap about “cold weather”
They didn't win in the cold either and had many December collapses
When your quarterback is so bad that you have to supplement him with the highest paid wide receiver in the league, and the 8th highest paid receiver in the league, there's no more money to put to other positions
How do you prepare these warm weather teams for games in cold weather?? There has to be a way... The Fins did look cold 🥶 out there😆
Retired people usually get cold quick... Retirement team retirement players
Tua aint good enough. At some point yall gonna have to accept that.
Well , He does.
Reggie "Hamstring" Bush calling a team soft...lol
Love your comment! My thoughts precisely! Two weak men Tua and mcdufuss, trying to be tough and cool
At most they win 2 more games. The Texans will run this team out of their stadium. The limping 49ers are too tough for McCharmin's team. Playing in the cold in Cleveland and East Rutherford NJ will probably be too daunting a task.
Why don’t they rent out Ice Zone in PBC so they can prep for the cold?
This team gives hope and let’s us down every time. Tired of hearing team is soft and the other narratives. Go dolphins
what hope?
Excuse me? I said this team would finish either 6-11 or 7-10 before the season began because the roster sucks. There is no hope with this team.
Thats long gone now, every team has figured out that bs out
His offense doesn’t work period
@ curious, what you think about the defense?
@@DenofLeos I would contest that statement, if it was every team, they wouldn’t be putting up +20 points.
However, the system offense is not ideal when it’s cold af, but want your players to be fast off the LOS, but also do pre snap motion.
If this was a game in MIA or non cold weather factor, this game would have been different. Cold weather truly is a factor to this team, not just the offense, the whole team.
On the plus side Fin Fans get to relax and sit back and watch the Buffalo Bills clinch the AFC East on Sunday night.
The thing is, green bay isn't a real good team. They're mid and Miami made them look like a Superbowl contender. Ever since Zack Thomas and Jason Taylor left our defense has looked soft as baby $hit.
MAYBE TUA CAN GO BACK UP DARNOLD
This team has no business being in the playoffs! Let’s be clear!!!
I don't know why they can't win in the cold but maybe miami could try to arrive earlier in the week to maybe adjust a bit to the cold. Just a thought
@richardolney2546 it's not just that game. It seems like they always do that all time. Other teams do travel early.
Can we just trade up drsft a qb that can play in cold n throw the deep ball in da cold
The Patriots are so bad now but if the Dolphins played them in Foxboro in December they would end up losing to Kraft’s stiffs
Time to rebuild nd fire everyone. Fins down 😢
