You are our GURU of sewing!!!! Looking foreword to what is to come my husband is also a great fan. It is giving us both something to think about and do. I recently made him a pair of board shorts using a pyjama shorts pattern it worked. He surged the legs and sides. They look and feel brilliant Thank you for all of the inspiration Dayamitra

I love this! I have been meaning to weave placemats for sooo long. But I haven’t gotten to that. So I may have the right scraps to use with the right interfacing! Thanks Daryl!

I hope you know how clever you are! I really enjoy all of your videos that I’ve watched. I don’t weave but I do have one of those circular knitting machines and I “make” my own fabrics on the machine then do a bunch of surface crochet and knitting on top so I can sew things with it. Can you tell me what interface is best for a coat if the yarn has acrylic in it?

The Fusi Knit foundation I use is Polyester, so it should be compatible with your acrylic yarn. As always, test first.

Yes Hello just wanted to say beautiful weaving videos , and I had a question about what kind of loom you use to make the garments you have on view and what weight and kind of yarn you use for the jackets and vest and is there any type of loom you would suggest for a beginner that is a teaching Montessori mother and grandmother wanting to teach my children and others the arts and this is something I wanted to learn from my Indian heritage --- Also if you use a different weight yarn what kind of projects can you suggest to do on them..... My life has been with children helping in the classroom and because these arts were not in the schools we were in I want to give the education of this to them and other things that we don't see unless someone we know has this and I have to learn this to use for making things for my children and grandchildren and would appreciate you letting me know how you hear the way I learned to teach my children to ask how to use what ever gift they have to do the work to show there all different and can do wonderful things the way we learn in the classroom that is not the traditional way of teaching children and they are the ones who hear the one who guides them to do the way they can not the way people expect them to do their way and my children do the work in a way that is done from infancy to adult and are still learning know that we have the computer to expand on the way we are taught in the manner of the absorbent mind of the child listening to what is their effort to grow and do what they can do on their own... Thank you for listening and I hope you are still around when my family come to me soon so I can show them your work with loom weaving ..☺🎭🧵🪡🧶🧶👩‍🏫
