A track from a great couple of albums that Peter Green came out with around 1980, after suffering thru drug effects with only the Electric guitar jam album in between "The end of the game".. Such a shame he was so affected ythe drugs. A lesson to all.
Such a melodic tune. I loved enjoying your technique, phrasing, dynamics and really thought your work with the pickup selector was slick. Can’t wait to hear more! Made my Fathers Day special. Thanks😃
When Peter was released from the hospital he asked Snowy White to play the leads on the album Into The Skies as he wasn't comfortable yet to play lead,,,,Slabo Day is done by Snowy White not Peter Green
Love it ! Peter is/was my fav player . I always thought Peter played lead on this but only discovered it was Snowy White years later. Did you flipp the magnet on your neck p/up to get a out of phase greeny tone ? Sounds great 👍🎸
Yeah Snowy's a great player too. The back pick-up is a standard Seymour Duncan SH11 while the neck is a SH4 with the magnet changed from A5 to A4 and as you suggested flipped. Glad you liked it, watch this space for more Peter and Snowy coming soon ...............
@@GuitarerMickieP thanks for your reply. I have a Harley Benton L.P which i flipped the neck magnet myself and it sounds very close to greeny's tone. You can see me playing it on my utube channel - ' Goodbye Greeny , Tribute To Peter Green' @ Alfie Henshall utube. I'm a lefty by the way 🎸😎
Hi Jeff, I use a backing track, either a commercially available one or create my own. Although sometime, as is the case here I'll take someone else's and modify it with extra bits and different arrangements
musical brilliance
Thanks Patrick
Snowy, knows how to "lag it" which causes the ears to "WANT MORE, FASTER"!!

Snowy always used to include this tune in his live shows and that's what this is based on.
Stellar performance, Matey.
Merci, thanks for watching
Very nice!! I love this song, very much. Have you played Albatross? That's a beautiful song as well. Thanks for sharing this🎶🌟🎶💚💞
Hi Deborah, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I used to do Albatross with one of my bands, I may do a video of it one day, watch this space
My version of Albatross is now available on my channel..............
Great! Lead guitar sounds perfectly... What effects did you use...
Non, just guitar and amp. Reverb from amps built in reverb

Nice job. How did you remove the guitar from your backing track?

Amazing sound! What amp are you using?
Thanks, it's a Laney Cub 12 combo fitted with a vintage (1973) Celestion G12M Greenback
@@GuitarerMickieP Thanks a lot it sounds awesome! Will try and get hold of one.
