I've been here myself. I was 2 weeks away from graduating from Initiation. I was raised Catholic and I myself thought I was doing this to help people. I prayed before and after rituals. My gobela(spiritual trainer) got so upset with me, saying my "Ancestors" which I now know are farmiliar spirits, because our Ancestors that knew us and loved us are sleeping and have no influence in our life. She said my "Ancestors" are not happy and are unable to settle nicely/ well in my body because they say I'm blocking them. I knew that it was due to my secret prayers. Mind you I was already possessed at this point. I prayed and asked God to show me if this is really of Him or set me free. That night at 3am the Holy spirit woke me up and told me to pack my things and at first light leave and never turn back. Told me how my gobela will put fear in me that my ancestors will kill me and destroy my life. And in the morning, as I was walking out, she said the things the Holy spirit said she would say, I knew right there, that this is not of God. I left. The Holy spirit instructed me to fast for 3 days. On the 3rd day, the beads around my neck broke free on their own.I too burned everything. I didn't die or lose my mind. I have a sound mind and blessed life. Jesus came to my place on that 3rd day, ministered to me, I too was tormented in the night. Jesus said I will not stop the torments, but I will be with you. That I needed to understand the level of Sin and deception I was under and that I will share the truth from a point of true experiences. I've been saved for 2 years now and blessed beyond measure. Jesus gave me back all that the enemy took from me. Jesus is Lord. Read your Bible. Ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you and He will. Stay blessed✝️🙌🏽✝️🕊
I'm so happy for you that you broke free❤ that you found your freedom in Christ. Yes, these spirits masquerading as our ancestors are ancestral spirits. They use spirits of python/divination to minister to people. The Bible does say that the iniquities of our forefathers will visit the third and fourth generations. Hence I'm not surprised that people are turning towards ancient principalities for spiritual guidance. Your testimony is powerful. Sis Bade was the first sangoma i consulted many years ago...My go to healer because to an extent i could relate to the modern and articulate lady i saw before me. They were both dressed in white. All he said was, "this is your husband, take good care of him". I then said, Lord does this mean he is in heaven? My mother was initiated at a young age and how it changed her life for the worst. At some point she turned to God and stopped practicing. She died in the Lord but behold the spirits had been tormenting us wanting to be accepted again in the family through my sister. My mom had also warned us that we shouldn't accept as we could suffer greatly. This is powerful, yet I am flabbergasted as to how it would happen to one person and not another. The reason that I mention this and ask myself such questions is because I find myself in a situation of poverty wherein I try and do something like find a job and nothing happens but instead things become worsened. I try and stay positive and believing God for a breakthrough but... I have yet to realise the release from the tentacles of poverty. Having grown up christian, I've always been sceptical and weary of the traditional and cultural things (izinto zesintu) but lately have found myself trying them out. I've not in any closest way become a sangoma and will not be, I've made it a point to mention that to my 'ancestors' and my siblings that I can't and won't even consider it but like I've mentioned earlier; the life I find myself in is really mediocre and the shortcomings are unbearable. So much so that I have contemplated suicide on hundreds of occasions, if not thousands, even now I am sitting in my store room at my house because I don't want to be fighting with my wife constantly. Yet here I am today, having stumbled upon your testimony just two days before my appointment with a traditional healer who happens to be my sister's boyfriend. I believe that they mean well but... I've always been uneasy even as the bad situation I am under continues to fester and has been for more than ten years. I'm grown man, about to turn fifty five years but I feel like I have nothing to show for it. My confidence is at its lowest and has been for that duration, I'm more confused and still feel that it'd be better to die than continue living like this. I regret quiet a number of decisions I've made in the past and they haunt me to this day... Yet the question still remains; "Why do other persons encounter Jesus in the way you have and others don't, do I need to delve into some God forbidden activity 😢? Thank you for your comment beloved. I am very sorry that you have been going through what you have been going through in your life. The enemy has been hindering you and stealing in your life. There are many beloved brothers and sisters in the faith who are in a similar position to you. I have had so much grace in my life. It has not been my works that have gotten me to see such a divine move of God but what I can say is that In my initial stages of coming out i was so desperate to hear from God. My situation was between life and death, I understood this and my level of cleaving to God as the only source and to relentlessly pray and seek His face until He answers, is what led me to see such a divine move of the kingdom. In my initial stages of coming out, it was literally pure desperation, everyone and everything else had failed me and would have rather died at the feet of the Father without an answer than to go anywhere else. This level of cleaving, desperation, seeking and faith in God I believe moved Heaven. You have to be desperate in your seeking and to do exactly what God is asking you to do at that moment. I remember there was a time the Lord asked me to feed the poor whilst my son had no nappies , i said to Him, if He will provide, i will feed the poor. The next day my husband randomly found money on the floor when he was out and I was tempted to use that money for us butni knew what it was for. i took that money to do exactly what God had called me to do which further opened up so many things for us as a family. The Lord was teaching me that obedience helps you to access the blessing. The second thing that helped me aside from being desperate, as I grew and matured in the faith was to learn and understand divine kingdom principles which I believe many believers ignore. One of these principles being the principle of sowing and reaping. I partnered with God to help build his house. I would plant into different ministries, giving an offering when the Lord called me to. My tithes go where God has planted me at the time but my offering goes into what God is calling me to help build. My money is not my money, it is God's money. I have learnt that when you take care of God's business, He takes care of yours. GOD lead me where to plant (not people) When you are so focused on just taking care of your own business but abandoning God's house, He leaves you to it. My husband and I have counseled couples and 90% of the time when there are financial challenges and constant setbacks, I can guarantee you they are not tithing. Believers still do not understand the principle of tithing, they think the pastor just wants to eat their money whereas Tithing has nothing to do with the pastor but is something you do out of free will because you are in aa covenant with God. If God gave everything to us, His only son... why are we still struggling to put him first in the basic principles like our finances? Some say under the new covenant tithing is not necessary... I have personally witnessed yhe difference during months I tithed and months I failed to. Simply put my deliverance came from having enough Faith to believe God enough to obey His leading which led to my deliverance. I am still a work in progress but if you take nothing else away just take this. You are called however you have many strongholds that if you really started seeking the Lord would reveal to you how to receive the deliverance that He already has for you. I truly pray Jesus visits my mom like you because she is also in the same boat you were in. These spirits are making her suicidal and depressed she has been on this journey for almost two years, and they keep promising her fake promises. She is always sad and ever since my 'granny' entered my mom everything in my family has gone south financially. It's like there is a dark cloud hovering over us and iv recently turned to Christ and it's like my eyes have been opened by him cause I now see this whole thing is a lie. Our late family members would literally possess her and speak through her and even portray my granny's character and how she would talk and walk and my family would be amazed. What's even crazier is that we only believed that my 'granny' was in my mom two months later there is a random grandfather and more dead people living inside her. It invited so many spirits and it doesn't even make any sense. The same 'grandfather' ancestor that slept with her in her dream, which is where I had enough. They pace her up and down it sounds like the ancestors don't even know what they are doing but kancane kancane lento iyamuqeda uMah ngeDeppression and it's making me so mad. Now everybody in this family believes in them and what's crazy is that we used to be a Christian family now all they do is worship ancestors. EVERYTHING IS IN SHAMBLES not one good thing is happening in this household and it's because of these deceiving spirits and my mom is very stubborn I cant convince her she is not moved by anything involved with God. I know I should just pray for them but it's sad seeing my family like this really.

You know God is really good because it was social media that opened up my eyes people like you who post such testimonies really opened up my eyes and i decide to throw away everything i had the candles the muthis i had to use for protection and i decided i will never again in my life slaughter because God had opened up his kingdom to me and i have seen the light. What a testimony 👏👏 I Thank God for saving me from the Journey I would have taken if it wasn’t because of money that I did not have I remember visiting a friend of mine and she woke up one morning and told me that in the middle of the night I had that white calamine that is used by the Sangomas so I should go to my Dad and ask him and ask him what is the meaning of that and my Dad believed sooo much to the Sangomas but there was something in me that always doubted every report that is coming from the Sangoma So I had a fight with the father of my daughters ( I was living a sinful life, having a sexual relationship with this man and we have two daughters) mind you that time to me it was not a wrong thing because this is what the community says but now I know it’s the deepest sin that can open all windows of darkness in your life Anyway this friend took me after breakout with this Zulu man She said I need cleansing 🤷♀️ So we went to this Gogo Man( the Sangoma) The guy looked at me and he said I will need two chickens to be slaughtered on top of my head and the blood must fall down on me Tjoe this traumatized me because I’ve never seen such thing in my home remember when we are out in the world away from our Parents what will carries us when we are young is the teachings we had from our homes , I was young, grew up from a Christian family but with no relationship with the Lord Long story short I didn’t feel like going back until this friend of mine came back and she ask me why I don’t go I said I don’t have money to buy chickens So she said we should go and she will speak for me So we went as we entered the place, the guy looked at me soo deeply and he said he can not do anything, there is something blocking him I must return back home, there’s this strong person looking at him who doesn’t agree with what must happen That time I didn’t understand because I am coming from a background of mixture ( my mothers side they have Sangoma‘s) My father’s side there are believers and also Sangoma’s with no progress in this Sangoma calling of theirs So all in all I left South Africa 2014 with all that mixture but thanks to God who did not allow me to have money for all that and now I understand why we are only given what we can manage because if I had more money that time I would have fell in that hole When I got to Uae 2014 I met this amazing lady from Cape Town and even though we had soo many differences but she loved me soooo much and she still loves me until today She took me to church and 2017 I accepted Christ and I was Baptized Now no one can ever fool me and try to convince me about anything Jesus is my Life and I am free from all the Bondages in Jesus name It has been a Journey and it is still a journey but I am embracing every moment of it 👏👏👏👏

I've been here myself. I was 2 weeks away from graduating from Initiation. I was raised Catholic and I myself thought I was doing this to help people. I prayed before and after rituals. My gobela(spiritual trainer) got so upset with me, saying my "Ancestors" which I now know are farmiliar spirits, because our Ancestors that knew us and loved us are sleeping and have no influence in our life. She said my "Ancestors" are not happy and are unable to settle nicely/ well in my body because they say I'm blocking them. I knew that it was due to my secret prayers. Mind you I was already possessed at this point. I prayed and asked God to show me if this is really of Him or set me free. That night at 3am the Holy spirit woke me up and told me to pack my things and at first light leave and never turn back. Told me how my gobela will put fear in me that my ancestors will kill me and destroy my life. And in the morning, as I was walking out, she said the things the Holy spirit said she would say, I knew right there, that this is not of God. I left. The Holy spirit instructed me to fast for 3 days. On the 3rd day, the beads around my neck broke free on their own.I too burned everything. I didn't die or lose my mind. I have a sound mind and blessed life. Jesus came to my place on that 3rd day, ministered to me, I too was tormented in the night. Jesus said I will not stop the torments, but I will be with you. That I needed to understand the level of Sin and deception I was under and that I will share the truth from a point of true experiences. I've been saved for 2 years now and blessed beyond measure. Your testimony is powerful. Sis Bade was the first sangoma i consulted many years ago...My go to healer because to an extent i could relate to the modern and articulate lady i saw before me. God came to me in my dream. He showed me my husband. There were clouds around both of them. They were both dressed in white. All he said was, "this is your husband, take good care of him". I then said, Lord does this mean he is in heaven? He repeated, "this is your husband, take good care of him." I woke up so happy and in joy. My mother was initiated at a young age and how it changed her life for the worst. At some point she turned to God and stopped practicing. She died in the Lord but behold the spirits had been tormenting us wanting to be accepted again in the family through my sister. My mom had also warned us that we shouldn't accept as we could suffer greatly. This is powerful, yet I am flabbergasted as to how it would happen to one person and not another. The reason that I mention this and ask myself such questions is because I find myself in a situation of poverty wherein I try and do something like find a job and nothing happens but instead things become worsened. I try and stay positive and believing God for a breakthrough but... I have yet to realise the release from the tentacles of poverty. Having grown up christian, I've always been sceptical and weary of the traditional and cultural things (izinto zesintu) but lately have found myself trying them out. I've not in any closest way become a sangoma and will not be, I've made it a point to mention that to my 'ancestors' and my siblings that I can't and won't even consider it but like I've mentioned earlier; the life I find myself in is really mediocre and the shortcomings are unbearable. So much so that I have contemplated suicide on hundreds of occasions, if not thousands, even now I am sitting in my store room at my house because I don't want to be fighting with my wife constantly. Yet here I am today, having stumbled upon your testimony just two days before my appointment with a traditional healer who happens to be my sister's boyfriend. I believe that they mean well but... I've always been uneasy even as the bad situation I am under continues to fester and has been for more than ten years. I'm grown man, about to turn fifty five years but I feel like I have nothing to show for it. My confidence is at its lowest and has been for that duration, I'm more confused and still feel that it'd be better to die than continue living like this. I regret quiet a number of decisions I've made in the past and they haunt me to this day... Yet the question still remains; "Why do other persons encounter Jesus in the way you have and others don't, do I need to delve into some God forbidden activity 😢? There are many beloved brothers and sisters in the faith who are in a similar position to you.
I have had so much grace in my life. It has not been my works that have gotten me to see such a divine move of God but what I can say is that In my initial stages of coming out i was so desperate to hear from God. My situation was between life and death, I understood this and my level of cleaving to God as the only source and to relentlessly pray and seek His face until He answers, is what led me to see such a divine move of the kingdom.
In my initial stages of coming out, it was literally pure desperation, everyone and everything else had failed me and would have rather died at the feet of the Father without an answer than to go anywhere else. This level of cleaving, desperation, seeking and faith in God I believe moved Heaven.
You have to be desperate in your seeking and to do exactly what God is asking you to do at that moment. I remember there was a time the Lord asked me to feed the poor whilst my son had no nappies , i said to Him, if He will provide, i will feed the poor.
The next day my husband randomly found money on the floor when he was out and I was tempted to use that money for us butni knew what it was for. i took that money to do exactly what God had called me to do which further opened up so many things for us as a family. The Lord was teaching me that obedience helps you to access the blessing.
The second thing that helped me aside from being desperate, as I grew and matured in the faith was to learn and understand divine kingdom principles which I believe many believers ignore. One of these principles being the principle of sowing and reaping. I partnered with God to help build his house. I would plant into different ministries, giving an offering when the Lord called me to. My tithes go where God has planted me at the time but my offering goes into what God is calling me to help build. My money is not my money, it is God's money. I have learnt that when you take care of God's business, He takes care of yours. GOD lead me where to plant (not people)
When you are so focused on just taking care of your own business but abandoning God's house, He leaves you to it. My husband and I have counseled couples and 90% of the time when there are financial challenges and constant setbacks, I can guarantee you they are not tithing. Believers still do not understand the principle of tithing, they think the pastor just wants to eat their money whereas Tithing has nothing to do with the pastor but is something you do out of free will because you are in aa covenant with God. If God gave everything to us, His only son... why are we still struggling to put him first in the basic principles like our finances? Some say under the new covenant tithing is not necessary... I have personally witnessed yhe difference during months I tithed and months I failed to.
Simply put my deliverance came from having enough Faith to believe God enough to obey His leading which led to my deliverance. I am still a work in progress but if you take nothing else away just take this.
You are called however you have many strongholds that if you really started seeking the Lord would reveal to you how to receive the deliverance that He already has for you.

I truly pray Jesus visits my mom like you because she is also in the same boat you were in. These spirits are making her suicidal and depressed she has been on this journey for almost two years, and they keep promising her fake promises. She is always sad and ever since my 'granny' entered my mom everything in my family has gone south financially. It's like there is a dark cloud hovering over us and iv recently turned to Christ and it's like my eyes have been opened by him cause I now see this whole thing is a lie. Our late family members would literally possess her and speak through her and even portray my granny's character and how she would talk and walk and my family would be amazed. What's even crazier is that we only believed that my 'granny' was in my mom two months later there is a random grandfather and more dead people living inside her. It invited so many spirits and it doesn't even make any sense. The same 'grandfather' ancestor that slept with her in her dream, which is where I had enough. They pace her up and down it sounds like the ancestors don't even know what they are doing but kancane kancane lento iyamuqeda uMah ngeDeppression and it's making me so mad. Now everybody in this family believes in them and what's crazy is that we used to be a Christian family now all they do is worship ancestors. EVERYTHING IS IN SHAMBLES not one good thing is happening in this household and it's because of these deceiving spirits and my mom is very stubborn I cant convince her she is not moved by anything involved with God. I know I should just pray for them but it's sad seeing my family like this really.

wow what a beautiful story. i went through the same thing i was told i will loose everything and i really did loose everything i lost the cars the money everything as a single mother who built everything on her own and for a while i really thought i lost it all because i was warned to go and do amagobonga or else. You know God is really good because it was social media that opened up my eyes people like you who post such testimonies really opened up my eyes and i decide to throw away everything i had the candles the muthis i had to use for protection and i decided i will never again in my life slaughter because God had opened up his kingdom to me and i have seen the light. I Thank God for saving me from the Journey I would have taken if it wasn’t because of money that I did not have
I remember visiting a friend of mine and she woke up one morning and told me that in the middle of the night I had that white calamine that is used by the Sangomas so I should go to my Dad and ask him and ask him what is the meaning of that and my Dad believed sooo much to the Sangomas but there was something in me that always doubted every report that is coming from the Sangoma
So I had a fight with the father of my daughters ( I was living a sinful life, having a sexual relationship with this man and we have two daughters) mind you that time to me it was not a wrong thing because this is what the community says but now I know it’s the deepest sin that can open all windows of darkness in your life
Anyway this friend took me after breakout with this Zulu man
She said I need cleansing 🤷♀️
So we went to this Gogo Man( the Sangoma)
The guy looked at me and he said I will need two chickens to be slaughtered on top of my head and the blood must fall down on me
Tjoe this traumatized me because I’ve never seen such thing in my home remember when we are out in the world away from our Parents what will carries us when we are young is the teachings we had from our homes , I was young, grew up from a Christian family but with no relationship with the Lord
Long story short
I didn’t feel like going back until this friend of mine came back and she ask me why I don’t go I said I don’t have money to buy chickens
So she said we should go and she will speak for me
So we went as we entered the place, the guy looked at me soo deeply and he said he can not do anything, there is something blocking him
I must return back home, there’s this strong person looking at him who doesn’t agree with what must happen
That time I didn’t understand because I am coming from a background of mixture ( my mothers side they have Sangoma‘s)
My father’s side there are believers and also Sangoma’s with no progress in this Sangoma calling of theirs
So all in all I left South Africa 2014 with all that mixture but thanks to God who did not allow me to have money for all that and now I understand why we are only given what we can manage because if I had more money that time I would have fell in that hole
When I got to Uae 2014 I met this amazing lady from Cape Town and even though we had soo many differences but she loved me soooo much and she still loves me until today
She took me to church and 2017 I accepted Christ and I was Baptized
Now no one can ever fool me and try to convince me about anything
Jesus is my Life and I am free from all the Bondages in Jesus name
It has been a Journey and it is still a journey but I am embracing every moment of it 👏👏👏👏

This is a beautiful testimony❤🥂To God be the glory❤ I too was once in this position. I was in matric when I was lead to believe that I had an ancestral gift. It also didnt help that I was surrounded by people who had these gifts so it was hard to overcome it. also, these gifts were passed down in my mother's family.I dont know what God did but He pulled me out of the deep tunnel I was. It was a constant battle of choosing God alone or ancestors. Until one night, everything just stopped. The PEACE that came after that, I will never forget.
