One of the things that I love about your videos is that they are so full of positive energy. Even when you were talking about your dog getting ticks you did it in a way that gave it a way that provided a positive outcome in the end. I really dig that my friend. Ethan from London your videos are absolutely fascinating. That is because YOU are a fascinating man. I love your work sir.
I am laughing at you as I went through a similar experience when I bought a cabin, I am not a country bumpkin, and I don’t know what to do. I actually got through two years and I sold it!! hello from New York
You’ll get the hang of it. It’s a bit of a culture shock leaving a big city. Lots of great people live in the country. They’re usually very happy to help and offer advice. It’s great to hear that you’re reaching out to the locals. Have you thought of buying a single cab ute with an aluminium tray for the heavy work around the property and leave your nice car for touring?
Be prepare man..snow turn into mud everywhere, then in summer the dust and mosquitoes/flies are all around. Then rats move to the stored logs (hope you won't find snakes...)..then you realize that a fire place is not the same as the central heatng, specially in the mornings.. ..but that´s the charm...welcome to the country side
no one ever told that becoming a viking is easy. go on dude, you gonna make it through !!!!!!
Log splitter.. Name in Swedish= Ved klyv!

It’s funny when I see pictures and videos of Switzerland they fail to mention the negative aspects like ticks and mosquitoes.❤
I am not in Switzerland 🇨🇭
@@EthanFromLondon I thought you moved there?
Sorry. I always seem to get Sweden and Switzerland infused. How embarrassing!
Dude, what adventure your are in now, i suggest you get some heat resistant gloves that go up you arms, dont need any burns now.
You will get through the struggles. This is all a time thing.
But do get your shed sorted as well!
Get a log splitter. Thay are cheap and readily available at places like Jula or biltema etc..
I was looking for one but I don't know what it's called and what it looks like in Jula or Biltema. I even asked someone and they showed me an axe :)
The magic word in Swedish is "Vedklyv" @@EthanFromLondon
Vedklyv
Hi Ethan. You continue to amaze me.
Have you got any snow today? We are about to get 1-2 dm tomorrow in Jämtland 😊
Nope only rain 🌧️ UK has a bad reputation for rain and it rains twice as much here 😂
