This is a most unhelpful and misleading review. Firstly, the reason that the reviewer's K8 couldn't be controlled is clearly that it is faulty: my friend has one, and it controls beautifully. He should have returned it and got a replacement. Secondly, to compare it with the DJI Mini 4 Pro is ridiculous - the DJI costs ten times the current offer price of the K8 (£85). And this is after he says that you don't need to spend huge amounts of money. It would have been far better to compare the K8 (a working one) with one of a similar price.
This is a scam. But these Chinese drones are often fun to fly, the video camera is rubbish. Now if you have some issues with flying you should know a few things. 1. Most have a speed setting and it's always starts at the slowest speed. This speed is only good for low or no wind. You need to set to medium or high speed to deal with wind. 2. Most of these drones have some sort of calibration feature. You should calibrate when you have a crash or when it behaves funny. There are 2 calibrations you can do on most of these knock off drones. Firstly a gyro calibration:yiu need this if it doesn't hover well in the sky. Usually you do this when the drone is on and one a flat surface. Second calibration is called trim: if you start flying and always veers in one direction it could mean the trim is off, you can then trim the drone and it will fly much better. I do sound like a stickler for the rules... But some folks don't give a s**t for the rules and thus the regulations get stricter and stricter for the hobbyist.. I just enjoy the videography aspect of my flights and getting outdoors. Take care and thanks for this video exposing the scammer sales.
@MavericksDrone I completely agree. It is a shame. This is why it should be named and shamed at every opportunity. Thanks for watching, pal. With any luck, the message will get out about this. Cheers.
@@jdeano3315 my comment was deleted??
I bought 3 as a deal....the first one flew across the kitchen and smashed
The other are still in the box, I kept thinking I'd give it to my neice and then thought I don't want to disappoint her....trash
@shadylonged, it's terrible that these are still being sold. They are not fit for purpose. You're right about that pal, very disappointing. Unfortunately, the only place these drones belong is the bin. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
It's really not recommended to fly drones inside the house unless you have a large house. Way tok many obstacles and drones are actually unstable when under a foot off the ground.
Also many of these drones can actually fly really well as long as they are calibrated properly and not flown in hugh winds. But note the videos coming off of them will almost always be trash.
You may be right about the product, but your mannerisms come across like a con artist.
🤣🤣
The only comparable with DJI MINI is the POTENSIC ATOM
Thanks for watching. 😊
If it's dji, it's quality. I've been flying drones for about 12 years .
