you need a fountain or bubbler. Stock lots of bait fish fathead minnows etc. also check alkalinity Texas dirt it’s usually acidic which makes the pond have lower alkalinity. Make sure the ph levels are good too.
I bought a 700 gallon stock tank at the feed store last year 8' across and 2' deep, I put 6 Koi in it, 2 didn't survive the winter but the others are growing fast. A cheap fountain and air pump from Amazon keeps the water moving but I'am having a problem with algae now too. I feed them layer pellets for chickens, they eat them as fast as I toss them in the water. Never thought of cat food, it is higher in protein. Good buy on the boat.
Ur risking burning your pump up or causing premature wear by hooking the water line to the non pressure side like you have it, hooking it up like that basically runs your pump continuously and can burn it up. The reason why you have a pressure tank is so it will maintain pressure without running your pump non stop thus extending the life of your pump. If I were you I would cut the black pipe off the left non pressure side and reconnect it to the pressure side like it’s ment to be 👍
I understand why you did it because it’s a larger pipe and have more flow but try not to run it for long periods of time and you should be good 👍 great job and really enjoyed the vid as always 😊
It’s coming along nicely love watching the progress keep it up bud bud!
Thanks! Will do!
So awesome man, ponds looking great, can’t wait to see it full buddy…i like your well set up and I’m thinking about having one put in on my property..
Thanks 👍. Yeah hopefully the pond will be full in about a month.
Also dye the water blue that will help block sunlight out and will control green algae growth. And it looks beautiful
Thanks Cody!

Thanks Kevin! I just ordered a windmill aerator, we'll see how that works.

Thanks, the well company owner said to use the non-pressure side to fill the pond so if it burns up I guess it's on him with the warranty he has.
Thanks!
Real world flex seal test 😆
run to the bait store and pick up some minnows. I think that would be a wise idea if you havent already.
Yeah, they also sell minnows online with next day delivery. I saw on amazon shipping 4 pounds of minnows for $135. That doesn't sound bad.
paddle wheel or bubbler may be needed if its hot like here and its shallow.... the heat drives all the oxygen out,and the fish die
Thanks! Yes I mentioned that in the video.
So which aerator did you go with ? Bottom feeders help also ! You should call it “PHYSICS” and only you can change the laws of PHYSICS ! Lol
It's going to be a windmill aerator. Pretty cool aerator, should be coming soon.
