After our conversation in the comment section of my video, Blackfishing fun at Point Pleasant Canal, I would recommend that you try using jigs for tog. The problem is their expense, but I don't think you will loose many. In the pace you are at in this video, you could get away with 2 ounce or maybe even 1 ounce jigs. I only recently started using jigs, but now I use the almost exclusively.

Yes jigs r expensive...I already lost many here. I will try jigs next time at the canal.
