I've played in 2 pre-release events and went undefeated in both, my game plan was i didn't build a deck around a singular card but the best synergy and if i had multiple copies of cards in an aspect, first event i pulled multiple cards that worked best with vader and won, second my pulls weren't good but it had enough synergy for me to make bobba work
This is mostly useful advice, but “try to win before your opponents leader comes out” is kind of like “don’t get hit” in a fighting game. It’s easy to say but doing it is something else entirely.
I’d win a lot more fights if they just never swung back! This game’s mechanics makes the turn leaders come out feel extra swingy. That tip is to help new players be mindful of where they’re at in the game and if they can handle the leader hitting the board. It definitely took me awhile to prioritize those turns when learning this game!
Not really, I always add a card that adds value, I've resourced useful cards multiple times but they weren't the cards I either needed that game or I had a card that fit the situation better, I won't put any cards you find to be garbage since that can hurt the game plan you have and could hurt the decks synergy
