I REALLY wonder at around 2:24 was the security guard planned in the video shoot or did he just happen to pop in there to try to get the crew to leave or maybe just wanted to be in the video, and the director decided: "You know what, we'll leave this clip in." xD
So funny. That guy was actually really aggressive. He’s nervously laughing in that shot as he purposely tried to ruin the shot. We weren’t allowed to shoot in that corridor. Turns out, he’s a star. 😂

The beginning absolutely needed the vocals tightened up to the beat closer before release. Just throws you off before getting to the nice hook. Voice doesn’t need to be top level….but the timing absolutely does. That being said, I always appreciate Nick and Thomas putting themselves out there.

@@nickphoenix9378 Thanks, Nick. Meaning, Vocal notes needed to be a pushed a few milliseconds back or a note needed to be held a bit longer/shorter. Something along those lines. Something simply sounds off about the vocals timing to the music and it’s not your actual voice. My personal opinion from what I heard.
@@sauce8277at which part tho? The part of the backing vocals following the lead? That just seems like a stylistic choice. Plenty of genres are deliberately not 100% on the beat.
@@snarf1504 It’s not stylistic or genre choice in this case. It’s just jarring. If a song is a studio version, there is no excuse to not get it right. however he was trying to do it, he didn’t get it right. No one expects the voice of some of the industry people they feature….but timing appeals to EVERYONE and is what will allow it to blow up.

What, who says so? If you mean 100% on the grid by 'getting it right", then this is both not true and undesirable. Accuracy and tightness is important, but %100 will suck out all the liveliness and natural feel. Timing variance is just like pitch variance - a tool for musical expression. Whether you like that particular musical expression is something else.
Again, which part rubs you the wrong way? It shouldn't be too hard to give a specific timestamp if it is so jarring, right?
