Thank you for this commentary. 1. Samuel is one of my favorite books as well. In 1996 during my highschool years i had the opportunity to join an excavation at Jizreel close to where this book ends. In 2019 and 2022 i volunteered in the excavation, leaded by Scott Stripping from ABR, at Shiloh, where this book starts. This book kind of grows in you, when you have worked in these locations. The content of your commentary also speaks into a personal conflict where time didn't heal all wounds. After ten years there finally seems to be an end of a chapter.

Pastor Guzick, as a student of the Simeon, trust, I’m always looking for the gospel connection in any sermon. This may be one of the best gospel connections. I’ve heard in a sermon. Not only is it spot on, but it also calls us to application. We are too just as David and ultimately Jesus did refuse the victim, mentality and place our lives into God’s hands knowing that ultimately he is in charge. This was a wonderful message, David. I thank you for your ministry.

Wow, What a great break down, Godbless you. This scripture puzzled me a little bit but I thank the lord for speaking through you and that I understood the word so clearly.
