Um, Hide Your Heart isn't Ace's song. In fact, Paul is credited as a writer alongside Desmond Child and Holly Knight. Ace did cover it on his Trouble Walkin' album, released the same year as Kiss' Hot in the Shade, which featured this version of the song, but it's not his. It was also covered by Bonnie Tyler and Molly Hatchet. I'm all for not screwing over Ace or Peter but that just isn't the case here.
