I was rooting for Spain and happy they won. However, I am greatly impressed with the Lionesses. They played well and more importantly, they have been gracious in defeat. No excuses. They consistently have said that Spain played better and deserved the win. Many of the men's futbol teams around the world should watch these post-game interviews and learn how to be gracious.

Of the 4 3 3 that he had enchanted at the European Championships there is nothing left and it is not clear why. With the two strongest wingers in the world and the top scorer in the English championship, all that was needed was to field them in their roles. A great coach who died yesterday said that a good coach is the one who does the least damage. Wiegman did them right today and it was understood that it is no coincidence that he lost 2 out of 2 finals. Rejected. The girls were good and they are not to blame.

We had our chances to score in the first half but Spain took their one chance to win the game and probably were the better team on the night and deserved their win. Our women's team has achieved so much in such a short period of time and have inspired many people. As a Pompey fan I started going to watch our women's team only about 5 years ago and I'm really getting into it now and enjoy getting to as many home games as I can so they've even inspired me in a way. Changing the formation from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3 means more defensiveness and the Spanish team noticed a certain fear of the English team. It could have been 3-4-3, that is: 3 in defense, 4 in midfield, strengthened on the sides and could come back to help the defense and the attack would have a trio. It was a tactical error. But that's football. Sometimes it dies on arrival at the beach

Well done to Sarina and her team for all their efforts this year in this World Cup. We went all the way but unfortunately just fell a little short at the final hurdle. We had our chances to score in the first half but Spain took their one chance to win the game and probably were the better team on the night and deserved their win. Our women's team has achieved so much in such a short period of time and have inspired many people. As a Pompey fan I started going to watch our women's team only about 5 years ago and I'm really getting into it now and enjoy getting to as many home games as I can so they've even inspired me in a way. Well done lionesses you can hold your heads up high, you've given us a good tournament and did us all proud. Losing a major final is a setback but we can over come it and this will only make us come back stronger. Come on England 🏴 🏴
