This event was special as we managed to battle Hiroya Minowa in the finals, it’s so hard to believe that he is only 14 years old. @@iOpTiMUz piotr is still with them. I would assume they just dropped him to have one driver and focus on him. And maybe James asked much more than they were willing to pay\provide since he's pretty much the best in the world
Go pro tip. When you’re shooting the in car facing out the front window on a sunny day. Go into the settings and turn the EV Comp down to between -0.5 and -2 this will darken the inside of the car a touch but will mean there won’t be a white wash outside the car. You can save multiple modes for day/night or overcast driving. So you can just flick between modes easily.

@@joshpittman2939 Definitely a tough ask, but if anybody can do it, James would be on the top of that list, I still think Lauri Should have one in the finals last year but he definitely deserves it and has been driving amazingly all season
I’m 100% focused on FD, I’m doing DMEC for fun and more than likely missing 2 rounds

man, I watched LZ's video and watching all his in car footage and them coming over to James.....all I can say is wow. Brother you are in a completely different league. Everything you do is precise and calculated. The pedal work, wheel movement.....it's insane. You were already the best FD driver before this season but now you are starting to become untouchable. Truly a joy to watch. Keep it up brother.

@@joelsmit4070 I like LZ's videos sometimes. Cool builds, endless wallet but he has an entire track and he never really uses it. All his builds are the same, lightweight turbo builds. he could but 1000 miles on the FD car if he wanted just driving around his OWN track. or OSW skid pad. He would get so much better.

@@noelmcbride8469 driving so dominantly I completely forgot about that lukewarm last season.
@@DamianVega00 I honestly beleive he burnt himself out and was really only driving FD last season for fun. Its almost like he lost the competitive spirit. But after the crash in Irwindale I think he said he had something like 150 consecutive days of no drifting (to let his arm heal), which is the longest period he's had away from drifting in his career, and I think that motivated him to be fully committed to winning this year. You can see that right off the bat with him winning OIDC as a prequel into FD and DM and he's absolutely dominating FD for the championship and currently 3rd in DM with missing one round as well. Incredible comback year.

Yeah, and he's top 3 in skill right now. IF james didn't make the final Hiroya would of won for sure! He has such good car control. You can tell how much James respects him. He ran over to him after the battle to shake his hand and tell him how good he was.
