    The pardons do not stop them from prosecution but it does stop any punishments. The truth can be told if they prosecute.

    Unbelievably corrupt. Pardons should not be allowed in the absence of a conviction and should not be able to be given for 10 years for anything possible that might be investigated during that time. This should go to the Supreme Court, it is absolutely outrageous.

    Did these pardons happen before the oath was taken by Trump, or after the oath?

      After President Trump entered the place, Biden had the pardons put through then, about 30 minutes before Trump took the oath. They were timed to go through then, so no one would hear of it until after the Oath and also Pres Trump wouldn't know about it, when he did his speech after the oath.

    Even if Trump ordered investigations they'd still have to be found guilty by a court before they'd face any punishment, so preemptive pardon of the innocent is totally unnecessary.
