Thank you. This may have just saved me lol. I bought this quad for my son, honestly because it was the only 250 around at the end of 2020. Was immediately disappointed and have been looking for a TRx250x ever since, but haven’t been able to find any. I’m gonna go ahead and do these mods, I’m sure he will like it a lot more after that.
Mine did not come with a limiter in the carburetor I took it all apart and it was nothing in there.. from what I understand some do and some don't I don't know if it was only certain years possibly.
Great video's men, you the only one with great info there's not alot of video's of the DS250 Can you maybe one Day fix a video of how to do maintenance on the DS250
Yeah man I sure can it's super easy I just did the maintenance on it but I can definitely run through quick and point out the highlights and things to do and not to do. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. I try to give information that I don't see regularly on RUclips and point those things out.

Thank you for the video. Just got one of these for my son and are going to be making some modifications. I bought a new 2023 DS250 and get a ticking noise at idle from the front. Shop said it is normal. Do you have the same noise?
Thanks for posting this great video! I'm considering buying this setup, do you feel the money spent was worth the increase in performance? You may also want to look into the clutch kit from Full Power Performance for more bottom end. I bought it recently and it definitely added more bottom. My son struggled to get his quad up a hill without it last year, couple weeks ago, he scooted right up it. They also have a carb and exhaust kit, looks like it dramatically wakes up the motor but, really expensive, too expensive for me to justify the $1000 upgrade. Thank you!
Yea i seen there stuff. Problem is actually getting a hold of them lol we actually sold this machine. My daughter is on a Raptor 350 now. The exhaust and jetting definitely helped wake it up.
Guessing by your comment you took it apart and don't remember how it goes back together? I wish I could help you more with that but I no longer have this machine.
Thanks very good video , I have one and I replaced the rings because noticed pressure on crank case it’s normal ¿¿.can you start and open the oil filer cap and let me know please
For starters, thank you for the videos. I have done everything you have suggested. Unfortunately I see you have sold that so now I’m on my own LOL. Anyway question for you. We bought my son a 2022 ds 250. Now I had the carburetor bowl off yesterday to re-jet after putting on the big gun exhaust. I’m seeing a big jet directly in the middle, a smaller jet right behind that. Now, the very first jet is bigger than anything in the jet kit. I ordered the same kit you have pinned. I’m not finding the really small idle jet. I believe that’s the number 38. But this model has the idle screw on the side of the carburetor. I only replaced the 115 jet and I’m getting just a little bit of backfiring. Can you give any advice on this? Also, when I took the bowl off, there was a white round clip piece just laying in the bottom. Do I need that? I didn’t put it back on and it seems to be running fine except the backfiring.
The white part fits where the pickup tube sits in the bowl. There are only two jets in the bottom of the carb. The small one is the idle jet. The big one is the main jet. Both need to be upped. I believe i went two sizes up on main and 1 on the idle. But could have been two on each. Cant remember.
Maintenance on these bikes are pretty easy it's just changing the oil and the transmission fluid it's listed in the owner's manual. Do you not have an owner's manual Is it an older machine?
I think this things are the same as the kymco/Arctic cat 250 sport/trail quads at least they look pretty similar only the plastics and weals look different
I bought my daughter the same wheeler back in March of “21 it recently started backfiring on deceleration any suggestions on a fix? Its bone stock no mods at all

I’m having issues with my DS 250 popping when letting off the throttle , tried jetting it 38/110 and still no luck , tried going to a 40 pilot jet and it wouldn’t even run just load up with fuel , played with the needle jet and no luck , the quad is only a week old ,
@@richardkamowski4656 well I mean it's brand new under warranty if you just bought it and it's only a week old I would take it back to the dealer I wouldn't be touching anything in the carburetor. If it's a stock machine and new it shouldn't be doing that
