Hi, we are loving playing around with the drone and getting the views from above, especially as the season changes, so cool. Appreciate you watching/commenting as always 💚✌️🌿
Me fascina la magia qque emana tu jardín huerto. Es el amor, el trabajo y la fé que Uds como familia ponen en todo. Gracias por todo lo que nos muestran. Soy de Bolivia y saludos desde Georgia, USA. Dios les bendiga.
The garden looks so beautiful from above, it looks like a colorful picture. I love gardening and harvesting with my family. Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures.
Aww yay - good on you - LOVE winter salad - its great having fresh crunchy greens in the middle of winter 💚 do you have any fav varieties for winter? ✌️🌿
That tromboncino harvest looks immense, and the massive one should be entered in a show! My fruits are all smaller than last years, but they are grown in a less than ideal situation so it's good to just get any sort of harvest of them. With the rat issue, keep a close eye on your garlic this winter. I lost much of my crop last winter to the vermin when they dug most of it up. Agree on the compost spreading season....got mine to do in the coming weeks. Can't agree though on pulling out the marigolds early.....i have to leave mine in the ground until they die back naturally.....after the display they've given they deserve a few more weeks of cheery colour.
Hey Tony - I can not wait to weigh that big trombone when we harvest it !! They are defo taking much longer to change colour though this year, even in the tunnel! It was sad pulling out the marigolds, they were still going so strong 🥲 it makes the replant and growth of next crop so much better though - everything outside is left til the bitter end ... or should I say for the bitter cold! Until killed off pretty much - turning the tunnel space around is something I'm really trying to get more efficient with each year, as it really does make a huge difference. Lovely hearing about your garden Tony, always enjoy reading. Appreaciate you watching and your messages 💚✌️🌿
Loving your intro - the aerial view of your paradise is superb. So sorry about your sweet potatoes. I’m harvesting mine next week. Pushing it to the very limit this year because of how poor the weather has been. The leaves are still relatively green so🤞. I bought some “snake” seeds earlier this year but ran out of space to plant. Hopefully I’ll plant one or two next year. My normal courgette did very well. Planted mini pumpkins for the first time and currently overwhelmed with the harvest. I’m not sure why they did so well despite the weather but I’m not complaining 😊. My Yacon is showing no sign of stopping. I can still see new leaf growth and multiple flowers on each plants. My flowers are the most difficult to pull out. The marigolds are still looking strong. The nasturtiums are more vibrant now than they were a month ago. I’ll keep both going for as long as they keep flowering because I can still see bees buzzing on them every day. I’ll pull the other flowers next week. Your ‘snake’ harvest looks amazing. I hope you get the bigger chestnuts soon. The tree looks great. I’m jealous of your winter leaf selection. I only have different types of kale and cabbage as well as carrots and beetroots. I got some Asian green seeds but never got round sowing them because ‘life happens’. Maybe next year. Thanks for another amazing update. I really appreciate it!!!
Hi Nneka, glad you enjoyed the drone footage - its so cool, we are having a lot of fun with it 💚 Yes, we've got some serious work to do to out smart the rats - working on it though! Glad you are getting good pumpkin harvests, defo our saviour this year for sure, they really are an AMAZING crop where they store so well too .. and delcious 😋 It was sad pullin out all those marigolds, makes life so much easier for the re-plant though - they were still going so well ! As are our outdoor nastrutiums too! Winter salad is something I don;t think I could be without now, I really do value its freshness in the winter, I don't even really use it in summer now - only winter! If you were nearby I would happily share with you, if all goes well we should have more than enough. Thanks for your lovely message as always 🙏💚✌️🌿
Hey Sally, so glad your enjoying the drone footage - we are having lots of fun with it - Hope you enjoyed Meranti too 💚 appreciate you watching & commenting 🙏✌️🌿
Have you heard of "Thelma Sanders Sweet Potatoe Squash"? They say the taste and texture is very similar to sweet potatoes. I'm going to grow this squash next year. Maybe that could be an alternative if you should lose this crop to rats again... 🍀👨🌾🌿
Oh wow, I like the sound of this!! I hadn't heard of that before, I have put it on my seed list now - hopefully I can find the seed, it sounds great 🤞 We were just saying earlier, how amazing squash are, where they grow and store so well! Thanks so much for sharing this ... and for watching as always 🙏✌️🌿
HI Josh, glad your enjoying our vids 🙏 The compost in the tunnel was a mix of basic municpal green waste compost, which is roughly large sieved, mixed with our unsieved homemade compost 💚✌️🌿
Hi, glad you enjoyed the vid, We don't give the Kumera any additional feed, just the freshly composted no dig beds they get planted into. The Trombones are brilliant, such a prolific cropper, the seed was Tromboncino d'Albenga, its an Italian heirloom and you can save your own seed if you are not growing Butter Nut Squash. You might this video where I talk more about them 💚 ruclips.net/video/esQfppG6GQQ/видео.html Thanks for watching & commenting 🙏✌️🌿

So good to see what you are doing. What do you feed your Kumera (sweet potato)? love those trombone courgettes. Are they an heirloom variety?
