Betlehem is a Palestinian territory and as everyone knows and sees how the situations look like between these two people, meaning it is not secure or safe for a Jew to visit these places which is the same as for any Jew or even American citizen if you are traveling to most of the Muslim countries. I didn't know that it is not allowed for a Jew to visit Bethlehem,but I personally visited the city of Bethlehem during Christmas time I think in 2011 or 2012. Also that was the time when I know for the first time in my life that there are Christians Palestinians. Most people think that Palestinians are Muslims, but it is not true. There are so many Palestinians Christians.

What a tough life and awkward situation. Imagine your parents hate each other and now you, kids, cannot face each other. I witnessed that in our extended family. I would have loved to comment about the Israel-Palestine conflict but the little I read from a history class a few days ago, made me understand why the conflict is complicated in modern times. Praying for peace in the Middle East. Peace must come with forgiveness because a lot has been destroyed and lives lost. Thank you for showing us Bethlehem.
