All right here are your tips for a better experience at the plate 1. If you have to tilt your head up it drops your back shoulder! You want a more level swing not a golf swing! 2. Someone buy a tee to take swings practicing hitting ball against the fence. Better contact and will improve your bat speed! Have fun and good luck!
There's probably a "halo rule" where anyone who hits it back up the middle is automatically out. Its to prevent people from hitting at pitchers who often stand there like a statue instead of being an athlete. Kinda dumb IMO but its not uncommon.

@@ryanrivera-z8j even more reason not to have this rule. these new players need to learn how to play the game and on defense the player need to learn how to catch and throw the ball. having that rule doesn't help them improve on defense. league directors should be embarrassed to have the rule in place

Its a close call in the moment so hard to tell but I would say safe since its too close to call. Tie goes to runner so it would be safe IMO

Never played where you can't hit middle, frowned upon maybe. That's why pitchers wear masks.
