Jo, I have soaked the lentils but it's good to rinse them to remove any dirt and pick through to be sure there are not any stones. Once or twice I have found small stones.

I love red lentils; they are fantastic in soup. I always rinse them in a sieve and have a look through to make sure there are no tiny stones. I have found a stone only once or twice. I never soak red lentils however. Just a good rinse 😊

Thank you! I think I will start rinsing them just in case. The whole soaking overnight thing feels too much for me ha ha😁but a quick rinse I can do😄

I think mae could end up vloging!!! I buy tinned lentils or beans or chickpeas!!! I’m scared to make them otherwise!!! I always aim for earlier so we leave at the best time!!!
