I could see a set of spring loaded fins flush with the bottom like old airplane wheels that you could stomp to activate, taking performance to an even higher level. So jealous that all we were smart enough to come up with in the 60's was a round marine plywood skimboard we made ourselves. Also helps to have the Wedge. Great job guys on pushing the sport.

When I body surfed the Wedge years ago ( since I was in 7th grade and when I was too young to drive would swim across the bay from Pirates Cove with my friends as we lived in CdM) would tire of the skimmers getting every side wave, and would push them away, BS that someone standing on the beach gets every sidewave. I like to watch the videos of them at the Wedge but feel for the guys in the water. It was great when it got big because Skimboarders could not connect to the main peak.
