    Acrylic Modeling Paste for stucco: a.co/d/6S65feH

    • @AzraelThanatos

      You know, with the modeling paste, you can upgrade it slightly by mixing in a little bit of a warm off white into it to make it do double duty for a layer rather than needing as much paint at later points

      @@AzraelThanatos Sure, but due to the thin layers and sanding, you’d still need to paint it.

    You are a wonderful artist. I have no interest in model railroading. But I love your channel. Thank you so much.

    It's great to take stuff from Disney and add your own version. And it doesn't cost 600 dollar's to go see it in person .ha ha looks great . Have a good weekend

    To me, that interior is amazing! I watched it again to get a good idea of how that is done. That building is another fine piece of craftsmanship.👍

    So you drew an adobe structure in Adobe. Seems appropriate. 🙂

    Another wonderful video, Dave! Since I grew up just a few miles North of there, The Magic Kingdom and Knott's were frequent weekend destinations in the 60's and 70's & this whole series brings back memories of those wonderful childhood visits.

    I really liked the painted back drop inside the store. Looked amazing! And the porch details are so good. Can’t wait for the next! Thanks for these, Dave.

    Another great build. I did a adobe store in N scale. I used spackle and it turned out better than I thought for my first time. I love learning from you. Thanks for this one.
    GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖

    I'm beginning to thing you like Jason Jenson, don't like to sleep (Jason told me he doesn't like sleeping). You get so much done in so quick of time, leads me to this conclusion.

    I always enjoy seeing your work Dave. Why do you always mix your gray watercolors instead of using premixed gray?

    • @ThunderMesaStudio
      @ThunderMesaStudio  Год назад +3

      Thanks. Because I can mix any shade of gray from warm to cool with just those two colors.

    Watching this again for the 3rd time (I have been planning on making one of these for the last 2 years and just keep coming back to the video and never making the structure - don't judge me) and when you did the voice over, you sounded like someone who gives a guided tour or something 😂

      Some kits and parts are available to my Patrons but I do not sell the finished structures.

    • @bob8409
      @bob8409 Год назад +2

      @ThunderMesaStudio sorry. I should have been a little clearer. Didn't mean finished. But selling them in actual kit form for people to build. You have some pretty neat buildings.

    Have you tried the modeling pastes from Vallejo (pumice or sand pastes) ? I used them to create rough concrete or stucco on my 1/35 scale models and finding should be OK for O scale. For Oo & HO I mix fine sand dust or micro-balls
    (mineral charge for resins) to my acrylic paints...

    Dave,
    I'm half regretful you chose not to further dress the General Stores interior. Of course your choices are dazzling.🤔
    Now with the build capped & placed there is but one suggestion I can offer.🤠
    To the store front add Pecus Bill & Slue Foot Sue. While tied to the hitching post is cross legged Widowmaker.😊
    OH how I miss the Nature's Wilderness train ride and the Mule Pack Train ride.😢
    Jim in N.Y.

    how do you use Adobe Illusrater for making the building

  • @RichieCat4223
    @RichieCat4223 Год назад +1

    Off topic question. What do you use to clean all your brushes with using all the different glues and paint?

  • @SFCRambo60
    @SFCRambo60 Год назад +1

    You should have hit your building and Stencil with a clear coat before painting or adding the blue paint.
    Enjoy your program, keep it up.
