Your patience is commendable and all the while making a video as well👏 Seriously anything wiring and poor instructions stresses me out beyond belief. So that would’ve done me in for sure! Thank you so much for doing this video because if I ever pick up that particular product your tutorial/review would be invaluable to any success of installation. Conversely depending on your next video and how this product fares will definitely determine if it’s a viable system worth using. Again thank you
I believe the "accessory wire" is necessary to service the "brain's" internal switch that turns on/off the unit's main battery power cable. This way the unit's power is switched on and off with the ignition switch. Right now, without the "accessory wire" connected to anything, the switch can only stay in the "off" position even with the ignition on. Just connect the "accessory wire" directly to the battery also. This should accomplish the "always on" state that you thought you were doing by leaving it totally unconnected. Be aware that this will leave the "brain" unprotected by a fuse.
Ok great! Thanks Ken. I woke up wondering if I could just connect that accessory wire straight to the battery. :) My only question is, should I connect it to the positive or negative terminal?
Ring them! Either the wires are terminated and labelled wrong or the manual! Wish ever the trigger(acc) wire is, could be wired live permanently for testing purposes? Good luck, not clear at all and I would be referencing the manual all the time for "how many presses, which button?". Patience is a virtue!! Thanks for showing us this.
Will the unit work without the hand remote control module plugged in. Does the manual say specifically if the remote has to be plugged in? The phone app can control all the functions and I’d rather not add to my handlebars and bury all that extra unnecessary wire beneath my seat. Just wondering if the remote “has” to be connected for the unit to work. Great vids thanks for your work.
The GPS antenna is in the remote, however. So if you want to be able to use speed and location functions, you will need it plugged in. That’s why it’s orientation is so important, so it’s facing the sky and satellites.
@@rayhat5111 Yeah I’m in the same boat. I want to have a really clean install so you hardly know it’s there. I might put it in the front under a piece of plastic so it can still get a signal, but isn’t an eyesore. Not sure yet. We’ll see how important it is to the operation of the unit. Hopefully it’s automated enough that it will turn on and record automatically and you can easily connect your phone when you need to retrieve video or change settings.
I would have contacted the company and not bothered with your incredible patience. I don’t have it and if a company is selling me a product they must provide the necessary support or I will get a refund. It’s 2023 and many companies are competing for customers. Shoddy manuals are the kind of thing that will make customers leave.
Hi looking at your installation video for a few tips poss going to install on my multistrada v4s can you tell me the size of the control unit can’t find any info and space is at a premium under seat any info would be welcome cheers Ged

Great, I want to buy it.
I didn’t actually understand what did you do on 30:00? What did you record through the android camera, why and how?

Thanks Ray! My understanding is that it all needs to be connected, but I could be wrong.

I don't have the unit anymore sorry; it became one of my Patreon giveaways. From memory I'd estimate 100 mm x 100 mm x 35 mm?
weird Manual -> better
buy another unit 😢 Thank you 🙏
