The IBR saved me once. An idiot came flying out of nowhere and I pulled the lever, and it stopped very quickly. I probably would have crashed if I did not have it. It is NOT a gimmick.
The thing about boat collisions hurting more people than any other type of water craft injury is just sad because it shouldnt be true. Its best to just stay away from people no matter what. Never expect someone to see you if someones coming towards you, move before you look back and realize they didnt see you and its too late
this video may be really specific but for "less capable people" the taking of the throttle is shown as going at 30 mph and turn. Also I believe is 3 ft is too much for a lagoon or river rider. And generally is too basic
I just got rxpx300 but never drove a JetSki in my life and please if you don’t mind I want explanation for IBR how to use it I will put the JetSki in the water in May.
Passing another boat from behind "from either side"...? Not a good idea..... Always pass on the right side, whether you pass from the front, or rear. This will exclude the possible head-on collision (with the idiot that chose to pass on the left, coming from behind). If everyone had followed most of what's mentioned in this video, PWC-related accidents would be eliminated. But, sadly..... Not many does.. Good introduction-video (but maybe a bit "if-something-bad-happens-it's-not-our-fault"- video.?) :-) FYI.... In Norway (the land of exaggerated restrictions) you need a High-Speed Training course to operate a watercraft (boat or PWC) capable of exceeding 50 knots (57,5 mi/hr). (RXT owner)
This year I bought a Sea Doo GTI 170 SE and to my surprise at the time of removing it I felt cheated since the owner's manual that I downloaded from the manufacturer's page and the one that came to me on the motorcycle said that they had two keys and they gave me only one and they informed me AT THAT TIME that they now came with only one key. Apart from that in the brochures that I also presented as a claim it said and showed that it brought the USB charging port and again to my surprise ... DO NOT BRING IT. The truth seems to me a lack of ethics that if the manual says that it comes with 2 keys do not bring them. I contacted many sides and the only answer is that jets now come like this ..... I honestly will not buy something from this brand again, nor will I recommend it to my friends.
I am sure the dealer is glad that anyone who rides a PWC and calls it a motorcycle stays away from their business. Plus, if the manual you downloaded says the learning key is included, you downloaded the wrong year. 2019 it was included, 2020 it was not.
