I don't think the sneaker community is loyal. Not even to Kanye, but loyal to Output. People who buy luxury goods esp Popular culture items, put a significant value on the esteem/bragging rights, as well as nostalgia purposes that comes with having the product (I mean isn't that partly why the dupe market is soo huge even, esp in the sneaker community) . The fact that even you are acknowledging the fact that you're missing a few to complete the collection, could be an indicator that consumers (will drop💰💰to whoever supplies) will consume. I Think of how Taylor had to re-release some of her own songs under her own label to match how the fans still consume her art, she had to ADAPT to streaming & performances. Soo maybe it's time for Kanye to either re-imagine some of his silouttes, bring up new talent & partner with a new manufacturer or build his own value-chain in China. Second case-study wherein I look at the local community, with history of AKA & Reebok, where big Hommie didn't get a share of the profits for his SNEAKA. The fact that big Hommie made it public that he wasn't making 🍞on the sales of his designed silhoutte, didn't stop the public from selling out the same day. Even the re-releases were gobbled up by the market. Despite his passing you haven't yet heard Reebok toy with the idea of dropping them despite the premise of that drop, poised to generate 💰💰💰Globally! Anyway just my thoughts. Looking forward to reading what everyone else's thoughts.
