This custom map truly illustrates that this old game kit can still be taken to new heights imo. it's jam-packed with stuff and imo is really fair with the secrets. like if you're being vigilant most things are really fair to find imo. couldve used an owl statue though-- :3c
Haha I absolutely loved that owl statue reference at the end there 😂 But I really couldn't agree more with what you said though, it's crazy what people can do nowadays with nothing but a slightly overhauled engine and to what levels of level design it can be brought! And I also agree regarding the secrets, they were for sure fair to find if you are observant even though I'm still not a giant fan of the ones you can lock yourself out off.
I always enjoy maps like this as well where you have a bunch of pathways that always keep on leading back to one main, central room. And this map does that to perfection, even if we didn't end up on the roof in the end which is an amazing idea if you ask me 😄

This is actually a great map to hunt for secrets in if you ask me, all of them were difficult but still very unique and fair to find which makes it good fun! And I'm honored that there was anything to learn from my slow playthroughs here, thanks for saying that 😄
Has a very own style, good polishing, nice ideas. Little bit inconsistent in how detailed the rooms are created or equipped. But not disturbing, positive creativity is clearly on the longer side. Give it a 8,5/10.
I was also very very positively surprised by this map. Didn't expect much as a first map and it ended up having all kinds of cool effects and a great design overall, really nice to see such talented people getting into mapping now! Glad you enjoyed it as well 😄

I can't help it with all the clocks and pendulums there, my brain just does it on it's own 😂 That game might lead to alcohol poisoning though so I wouldn't recommend haha Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed the map and even happier that we still have hope in the comments with Rasmus returning at the darkest hour!

Ohhh so that's why Harry's screen sounded like it was autotuned whenever we fell into the void xd Thanks for solving that mystery, my guess is that the map developer simply didn't know that would happen with the rotating camera.

@@Nixxo he thinks you've messed up mappers name and surname, which were written (as at 0:26) in reverse order - Isaev = surname, Ivan = name (commonly it would be written starting with name, so - Ivan Isaev) + why he thinks so, why does it even matter and why someone would bother to mention it: in eastern™ european (e.g. russian or post-soviet slavic) area addressing people by surname only is used almost exclusively in superior->subordinate relationships (e.g. school, work, military, etc.) or between people who are pronouncedly distant, so addressing people by surname only in informal/casual circumstances might be considered as impoliteness/light rudeness/arrogance (depends on situation). Also the surname is pronounced - eesayev - (a - emphasized) (Lore nobody asked for but here it is anyway)

I love how vertical this map is. At some point I was thinking you'd get all the way up to the roof.
