For almost 6 months, after all fees has been paid money for posting, no passport yet. And without passport it's impossible to renew residence. You can see the damage Nigeria is causing to his citizens abroad. 😢😢

Frank Tietie is correct -- with respect to those of us abroad investing in Nigeria. We now only support loved ones in Nigeria, investing in Nigeria is absolutely out of the question because there is zero incentive or reward to doing so. Some investments that some of us made decades ago have been consumed by Nigeria's degradation, corruption, and insecurity. Those among us, who no longer have anyone in Nigeria who knew them before they left Nigeria decades ago, no longer visit Nigeria at all, and so do their children -- they have severed contact with Nigeria. This trend will keep happening unless those running that country, most of who we know and interact with when they visit here, stopped being incompetent leaders.
Thanks, Ngozi (finally learned your name) and Suleiman for an enlightening program.

Perhaps we can do without foreign missions because I'm yet to see any Nigerian High Commission that truly serves the interest of Nigerians abroad. It's easier to go to the moon and return than to renew your passport here in New York.

The diaspora remittances are likely to decline dramatically over time because our children's generations will not be sending remittances.

Again , again and again. Sam Amadeus never straight forward in anything he says back and front. Always very inconsistent and about the minister of trade she should be relieved of her ministerial appointments as she knows nothing. When she went to NASS she can’t defend her ministry so how can she function well
