I was just doing some training as Juri earlier and kept trying to link the H Fuha to DP, but didn't even think of linking it to M Fuha. This has been a third eye opener for a new player like myself. Thanks
0:18 in case anyone is wondering the notation is wrong, it's supposed to be (df+lp - d - df+LP) i didnt read the top line that says "L TENSENRIN" was just reading the notation and kept trying to cancel h.dp into super which dont work. it's l.dp.
@@heckmeister6912 you did? 'cause I just realized the CA is QCB motion so impossible to 2in1 with the special xD The trick is to swiftly move from df+LP to QCB, no waiting, no delays :) Also realized I put HP instead of LP xD
You deserve more subs for this great work. I wonder if you're interested in expanding from just combos but also to things like real life examples. I find myself getting good at combos but I'm getting crossed up and messed up on ranked because I can't get IN to my combos, does that make sense? Seeing some example matches of what to do might be helpful for beginners too.
Thanks, glad you found it useful :) These combos are mainly punish combos so mainly punishing your opponent for making mistakes. It's a good idea to find out what is safe and what is unsafe. For getting in I'd advise you look at my neutral for beginners video. The easiest way to avoid cross ups is to not put yourself in that position in the first place, easier said than done I know. If they are continuously crossing up jump back j.LP is a good counter or neutral jump air throw if you have it. I do have matches of various characters but I will admit to not being great at the game :P If you have any specific situations I can take a look at counters in the lab :)
Hi I'm new to fighting games in general and chose Juri. I'm focusing on pokes, anti airing and one basic DP punish (the combo at 1:00), but I'm losing rounds since I do fuck all for damage lol. Which combos do you think I should integrate into my gameplay? I use cr. MK and MK for poking, cr. HP and HP for anti airing and I'm in Rookie.
Thanks for the question :) you're not losing due to lack of damage but because you are taking damage. It's good that you're looking at poking and AA, I'd suggest using s.HK as well in your poking. As for combos, learn all the punishes and hit confirms. Juri doesn't do much damage without VT1. :)
Bruh I'm not a rookie when it comes to fighting games in general but i never really learned all the vocabulary that you guys use lol, ima try to learn it then understand all this
This is hurting my brain, I'm fairly new and omg mannnnnn augh its so frustrating. I can't link the special after the spinny attack. I can't link ANYTHING after LP. It feels like the special comes out instantly after the spinny kick, but the CPU blocks it. I can't do cr. LP into spinny kick at all, I either go to fast and the game doesn't give me my spinny kick, and instead she just punches twice, or I go too slow and it's blocked.
By "link" I assume you mean "cancel". L Tensen into Super is tricky as you're having to go from DP motion to QCB x2 motion, only thing I can recommend is to keep practicing. For the c.LP xx H Tensen, if you get a second c.LP then you're pressing it too often. If you're getting a c.HP or s.HP instead of H Tensen then you're not doing the motion correctly (and also too slow), remember to use the df d df shortcut and turn on inputs in practice so you can see where you are going wrong 🙂
Do you have them both charged or have VT1 active? If so it's simply a cancel from one into the other so you need to do the second input before the first attack finishes 🙂
Do you mean SRK, Tensenrin? Her confirms are better than when she first came out however you can only really confirm into L Ten, which is quite fiddly. Think you can swap c.MP with s.LK to make it a bit easier if you don't mind losing a bit of damage.
M and R on a keyboard are pretty far apart. I think they do mean stand medium kick (aka forward) first hit that's one of the few buttons comboing into the mk fuha. Use stand strong (mp) to hit confirm into the mk or you use it as a poke and if it catches a limb the move is designed to move inward. If you catch that fuha on someone crouching you can actually combo into her target combo.
Here you go: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vR7P47JUyN_XmE5K6YJnDwMxeIMCpCWxojMQtoYdo-XnJmj58YLmpsg5qaEi4lAVtWfph0NGxFH4uTb/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true I realized there are a few typos in the buttons, like a PP instead of a KK and wrong directions in one or two examples, which i corrected.
Transitioning to new fighters is mainly about understanding how the game plays and flows :) MK is mostly an overhead/low guessing game with special spamming. SF is more footsie based, understanding spacing with a slower pace.
i did not understand a single symbol used on your screen, Im an MK player, i play on a controller and very new to SF. this vid did nothing at all to help me get into it, its just as confusing and runic as the other videos.
Do you have an actual question? If you don't know how combos work I have a tutorial that explains it. If you don't understand the notation I have it pinned in the comments.
homie just say the shit out loud damn ur making solve math equations with all this text and cross referencing i gotta do. i just wanna punch in video game cmon T_T
Don't know if your still replying but what in your mind would be the best way to learn this game i come from dbfz and use the stick on a ps4 controller and not being able to just press whatever i want and it going into whatever i want is frustating in sf6 ive been using mordern but i still wanna try snd get used to classic so i have it incase mordern ever gets nerfed or banned
Thanks for the question 😊 Unfortunately there is no short answer. I do doubt modern will get banned because it is something the game offers however you are seriously disadvantaged as it is very limiting. You either have to get used to using the controller or invest in a fight stick, which unfortunately aren't cheap. Hori make pretty good sticks that aren't overly expensive or look for second hand ones. Good luck 🙂
@@Eyeupthebison short answer is use whatever works best for you. I know there are some pros who use pad over stick. If you can get hold of a stick to try it out that would be advisable, then you can compare and decide what's best for you 🙂

It would involve VT2 and CA but I haven't put any time in to find the optimal combo.
