Shoulder holster could be useful on a motorcycle. Keeps a chunk of metal off your waist/pelvis in case of an accident. I usually carry appendix and was in an accident last year. I broke the triple tree with my legs/groin. I'm pretty sure if I was carrying that day I could've shattered my pelvis.
I opted for the shoulder holster, a Galco Miami classic model. I do this because I am sitting in my truck driving around all day with only occasional stops. It's a trickier thing in hot weather due to needing to conceal the harness, but this setup allows me easy access to my gun if I end up needing it when I am in my vehicle. It's also very comfortable once you get the harness adjusted right. I also have my IWB for my revolver, which is also very comfortable.
Good points. I liked his mention of the cross draw waist holster. Looks comfortable and accessible when driving, and is below most people's line of sight. When Thu get out of your vehicle you could put on a cover garment, or button/zip something you might already have on.
I'd say 80% of the time I am pocket carrying. I never leave home without a pistol, but we aren't allowed to carry at work. I usually stop for coffee on my way to work, and some of my local convenience stores can be pretty sketchy at 3am, so I slip my little Kahr CW380 in my pocket when I leave the house, and lock it in a lockbox in my car when I get to work.
I drove cab for several years back in the ‘80’s and needed immediate access to my gun while sitting down. I normally carry IWB positioned behind the right hip, but there’s not much slower when you’re sitting and wearing a seatbelt, and after 12 hour shifts you start to feel the butt of the pistol in your kidney. I carried a Walther PPK/S with Super-Vel HP’s in an old Bianchi 210 medium shoulder holster, and the beautiful part is that when sitting the butt of the pistol was literally 2” from my vest coat inside pocket where I kept my wallet. If someone insisted on my wallet they were quickly presented with something else without my having to unbuckle and lean forward to access an IWB holster. Especially if you’re a big guy like me where the seat belt post is interfering with your hand clearance, and appendix carry is impossible. These days if driving a long distance I carry a G19 in an old Galco (Jackass leather) Miami Vice rig for the same reason. It’s comfortable and the butt of the pistol is right there. Thanks for the overview! 👍
Very well put together. Clear and concise. I have carried in just about every conceivable way. They all have their advantages, and they all have draw backs. Frankly, shoulder holsters are by far the most comfortable and the weapon is easily accessible. Draw back? Your coat must stay on at all times, even in a heated building. Ankle carry is a great way to conceal, but the weapon is not easily accessed unless you are sitting. Every form of waist carry is much harder to conceal and not print, but the weapon is secure and easily retrieved when needed. There was a time when I carried exclusively in a fanny pack but weapon security is a very real danger that gave me nightmares. Great content. Very informative.
Raven concealment makes a holster that's just a trigger box guard or u can always not carry with one in the chamber since the gun is more free to move around in a bag
Good video. I’ve been 99.9% appendix for about 8 years now, haven’t looked back. Recently I’ve been experimenting with a .32 in the pocket for those times where nothing else works (say jogging shirtless or doing heavy yardwork). I’m still working on the skills associated though.
Recently shot a couple mags through a buddy's LCP Max. Very pleasant shooting gun, and great capacity. Unfortunately trying to do sprints or heavy exercise with an LCP in the pocket left me with a pretty heavy bruise on my leg. The .32 works perfectly in this role, at 9.5oz loaded it's over a quarter pound less weight and significantly smaller than an LCP Max. It's a belly gun for sure. I can shoot alphas at 10 yards with it if I focus, but that's not really what this gun is for. It's fantastic for retention shooting out of the pocket, .65-.75 draws are very easy from the pocket, and it shines at 3-5 yards. If I'm not doing something heavy physical like that, I'll just step up to a 9mm carried in the appendix position like I always do.@@workingguy-OU812

Shoulder holster since spine surgery I can't keep weight on my hips and I usually need a back brace on. I had to stop carrying until I found the shoulder rig that spreads the weight on my shoulder and upper back without adding much stress on lower back. Only positions I have found that I can carry are shoulder, chest, or drop leg/thigh,
Interesting he not even once mentioned SoB carry. It's specialized, not practical for all situations, and CAN be uncomfortable as well as putting your spine at risk for injury. But in certain limited situations, it can be practical and advantageous. There are both canted and horizontal carry holsters for this.
I've been pocket carrying for 11 years. Those small frame pistols are hard to get enough meat on them to tame the snappy recoil but for the last year I've been carrying and LCP Max and love it. Easily my favorite gun that I've carried.
The LCP series is awesome, my partner pocket carries one and I'm thinking about getting one for myself since hers fits under my skirts a lot better than my ppk/s lol
Walking in winter when its really cold, I have used a hill people gear chest pack. Quick to access and gun is hidden as well as a fanny pack but better supported and way harder to get off me. I can wear it while driving. Lap belt shoulder harness does not interfere. I put a DA/SA pistol in it and a spare mag. Only use it when I am in a total outdoor setting in very cold weather. If I had to head inside to eat etc I would take along a j-frame in my pants pocket and speed loader or a .380 and spare mag pocket carry. Lock the chest pack in the trunk. Put it back on when heading outside.
Shoulder holsters are very useful for people who do a lot of driving. It doesn't interfere with seatbelts and is easy to draw while sitting. I'm a delivery driver and I carry appendix while driving and it sucks and it's stupid and I hate it. lol I'm always worried that if I'm in a crash the seatbelt is going to crush the holster into me and cause an injury where there wouldn't have been otherwise. That's not a worry with a shoulder holster. What is though is flagging everyone around me... and that slower draw. :/
I just picked up the 43x and currently carrying around 4 o’clock but occasional carry left front appendix about 11 o’clock. Great video brotha. Now subbed. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Opinions of someone sold on kydex holsters, which are the most uncomfortable holsters ever produced.. None of these options are obsolete. The best one is the one that you are most comfortable and train with.
Position of conceal carry is very personal bc everyone is shaped differently and have different physical characteristics. I’m 78 and cross carry inside waist band. Reason: I’m right handed although I’m almost as accurate left handed as right which I think more people should practice bc if wounded in right arm/hand and also being able to fire from left side of conceal/cover; I’m not as flexible as I was in my 30s so harder to raise right shoulder for right side inside or outside carry plus it draws more attention to you when drawing bc your shoulder sticks up. Appendix carry is uncomfortable when sitting unless you have a six-pack.
I love fanny pack carry for my Glock 43 at the gym or on hikes. Unfortunately, I have to take off the fanny pack for ab exercises, so I'm frequently just putting it around the machine I'm using so nobody can snatch the bag and run. I use a clipdraw trigger sheath to protect the trigger and connect it to a tie down. It is still quite comfortable while driving.
I know a few people who shoulder holster carry because of their body time. They have a little of extra fluff around the edges that makes waistband carry uncomfortable.
my favorite is my shoulder holster its a VERTICAL ROTO SHOULDER HOLSTER by craft holsters it rotates 45 degrees from vertical to horizontal its my only holster i use!!!
I use the left hand shoulder holster with the gun right under my armpit. Compete concealment and full range of motion. No one can see that you are carrying. This worked for cops for a long time. You dont have a holster? Put the gun in your left hand jacket inside pocket with the butt facing backwards.
The all time best concealed carry holster is custom made by Andrews Leather and it's called the "Carjacker". The only downside is that you need to wear an untucked shirt or jacket to cover it when walking. Still, best ever.
I do a hybrid of aiwb and cross draw. So I’m right handed and I carry on my left side appendix. It’s amazing! For a small framed guy like me (5’10”, 180 lbs) it allows for my Glock 34 grip to hide perfectly along my belly
@@adammartin880 real recognize real! If ur ever interested on a good large frame ccw setup check out the armadillo concealment Lux Extended. Sage dynamics has a fantastic video that made me go this route. It connects to the light on your gun not the gun itself. So I can use my 34 for everyday ccw and my Glock 44 for practice at the range. That mixed with a fantastic ccw belt like a cigura completely Houdini’s that sucker. Not sure if you have a gut or not but I’m sure that would complicate it all. Took about 30 days to get over the chafing in my groin and abdomen and then it became a sensation I feel naked without. People always gripe about how uncomfortable carry is, I have learned to replace “comfort” with comforting. A Glock 34 with a tlr 1 and rmr and a 17round mag on my belt as a backup is so much more confronting than any p365, G42, shield, XDS, or anything else I’ve ever carried the last decade.
A shoulder holster allows you to carry a rather large gun with tucked in shirt. It is also accessible in any position while being very stable. Similarly pocket carry is an any situation mode with no concern for looking inappropriately casual with tails out and also allows discreet prestaging.
I could see the shoulder holster for carrying a large gun as a secondary. I could also see either the ankle or shoulder holster as an option for someone who spends a lot of time driving, and the seat belt could cause issues with the cover garment.
Many manufacturers of cargo pants such as 5.11 tactical CAN sufficiently pocket carry and conceal a 9mm such as a Glock 43. Also, if you add on a rubber grip it makes the draw more consistent and smoother. It is a tactically sound style, it just needs the correct clothes and correct gear, along with practice in drawing the firearm from the pocket as opposed to drawing from the hip. The benefits include never having to worry about printing or firearm visibility in left-leaning areas, along with greater adherence to everyday carry philosophy.
How do you ignore small of the back? That’s my daily go to with a tuckable holster. Every carry position has pros and cons, but being able to carry in a professional environment with a tucked dress shirt is key for me. Comes with the disadvantage of 1 more second required to untuck my shirt (I can’t avoid that regardless of carry position), but that’s a risk I accept given my environment and the vastly more likely situation of being secondary to a conflict versus grappling with an attacker, again, in my environment. Also, on the point of training, every single day when I undress, and also on range days which include firing, I untuck and draw to practice that motion and honestly 1 whole second is a gross overstatement as with practice the untuck (simultaneously with the opposite hand) isn’t even noticeable. Reaching around back is less comfortable than reaching to a waist, but at least for me, only slightly so.
I'm sorry but the small of the back is one of the worst positions to carry if it's in your waste, slow draw, everyone in a 2 mile radius knows your drawing and your dead before it even leaves the holster. Sorry your take is bad.
@@wayneknopp5525 completely understand your position if the only scenario you’re considering is a one on one movie style draw down. Which does happen of course. But not nearly as often as situations where you have the 1.3 seconds required to draw from SOB.
I carry outside the waist band Texas cross draw every day. I do this because I'm an electrician and I have to be able to squat and move but I still want my weapon in the front of my body at all times. It's basically like opposite side appendix otwb.
I carry a P365x in pocket carry every day in a Versacarry Pocket holster (front right pocket) with a secondary mag in a Neomag clip (back left pocket). It is by far my favorite method of carry because it is by far the most comfortable. Works great and people are always shocked when I let them know I am carrying. Only shorts/pants with the smallest pockets do not work.
@@dean7673 No. It has fit in every short/pant I have bought. The only problem I have ever had is that In some shorter golfing shorts (Callaway) you can see the backstrap of the gun if you are looking for it. For what it's worth, Hickok45 and Coch from Tactical Hyve also pocket carry it sometimes. Hickok45 uses an Alabama Holsters pocket Holster, and Coch uses a Vedder pocket holster. I'd start there as Versacarry has discontinued the pocket holster I use.
For the P365 I pocket carry in a kydex inserted into an Uncle Mikes or a Sticky holster. A good choice is a pair of Bass Pro Red Head cargo shorts which have an ample pocket. With those I also carry a Glock 30 as well as an HK P2000SK .40 SW.
Pocket carry for me is I’m not sure if there is a threat I can put my had in pocket and be ready if it was nothing continue on my way. Can’t do that with out brandishing in others positions
Shoulder holster is handy in a car or otherwise when seated. It requires dedication and I don’t use it much. It’s also useful for old guys that have to pee every ten minutes.
Been pocket carrying from day one. DeSantis Nemesis holsters are my go to. And it is accurate to say that the pocket size is key. In cooler months, I can wear some cargo work pants that have BIG pockets. I can carry a Shield Plus in my pocket without issue.
That also works with shoulder carry, criminals are looking at their audience for movements in the usual areas, shoulder carry not being common can be confused with a bystander just looking on with arms crossed in a non threatening manner.
The one time that I felt a threat, I stood close to the back of my truck with my hand in my pocket and gripping my P365. There were three potential peeps hiding behind a big propane tank at a gas station. I left quickly after enough gas was in the tank to get me down the road. But on reflection I felt undergunned and switched my edc to a Glock 30.
5:22 Shoulder Rig Virtues: Lower Back Pain makes waist carry hurt.. (Yes.. even with a "Gun" Belt)... better position for driving, more difficult for an unseen perp to get it from behind (v. waist band).. and you can use a public toilet without disarming (and forgetting yer pistol in the toilet)... You can put a small light on the rig so if there is an unexpected "Bump in the Night"... you can quickly put the whole rig on, "Rig" = Holster, pistol, spare mags and flash light, and then if you have time you can put on yer pants... Shoulder Rig is not: Fast Draw... but prolly most self defense encounters are a "Wait yer Turn" scenario anyway... the bad guy always gets the drop on the good guy... so outdrawing the perp isn't really an option.. Requires an over garment... won't work with just a loose fitting t-shirt.
Have a Certum lux 2 for my 19X n love it. Any chance y’all will be releasing any line of holsters for FN in 2024? Just bought a 545 n would love to pair it with any tenicor for that matter
I found some of those positions are difficult for larger people. I go with a shoulder holster but have at times gone with my hip holster but if I have to actually cover it up then it is better and not dig into my side like most IWB holsters or side holsters. But when I am out riding my 4 wheeler or bike I use a drop leg holster just for the fact it is easier to pull out if needed then having to try and go inside tighter fitting riding gear.
I find having multiple options is important though, or at least one other option... Most of the time I prefer shoulder carry(yes im one of the weird ones) but depending on what im wearing it's not always an option. Got myself a nice comfortable jacket to wear in most weather for most outings that works well for shoulder carry.
I like belly bands when its not too hot out but that rarely happens down here. I only use one when I'm wearing bottoms without belt loops so its better than nothing.
When it comes to carry I will super glue it to my upper back if I had to. I live in Beautiful Texas where Open and Concealed is legal. I bought a Leather Dress belt and a $10 leather holster and carry cross draw with belt sitting on second rib. I carry a heavy .45 and two extra extended Mags. I made a video. I don't post links. It's on YT.
Love this video and the thought into every carry position scenario. I personally ride a motorcycle 90% of the year and in this case shoulder carry works amazing here as wearing a vest or jacket covers the torso well but not necessarily the belt line which can come up raising your arms. The other benefit here is most shoulder rigs carry 2 spare mags on the opposite side which is nice from a capacity perspective for a 1911 as most people rarely have an extra on their person. Outside of riding, IWB at either the 4oclock or appendix location is superior majority of the time.
We generally steer clear. It's difficult to access, tends to print a lot, and can potentially result in pretty serious injury if you fall on your back (which would not be unusual in a fight).
I generally carry my gun at 4-5 o'clock on my belt. I sometimes have a hard time keeping it concealed due to my somewhat wide hips, the Apendix obviously conceals better, however, I can't find a way to carry it comfortably, it's annoying when I walk, it's annoying when I sit. Maybe I have my belt too low? I can't help but squeeze a testicle every now and then when I sit down hahaha, that's why I prefer to wear it at 4, where I frankly forget it exists.
I carry a Glock 43X and a Glock 26 in a sticky holster in my Levi jeans pocket. Its very comfortable and easy to get my handgun out of my pocket when I need it. Please confirm Jeff that you read my comment.. Very informative and excellent video.
Im seeing some bias on hip vs apendix. Ive only ever carried apendix, if someone is getting up in my face, id rather be able to draw and shoot straight easily rather than reach halfway behind me at 3/4 o clock and grab my gun and bring it to the front to point. Apendix just seems quicker for draws which matters a lot.. ive had a glock 19 sized gun and im a smaller guy, this was super uncomfortable to carry apendix, so i switched it up, i went with a smaller gun and it conceals amazingly with a kydex iwb holster with a claw. I have a wedge but its not necessary with my current setup. If someone walked up beyind me, they cant reach all the way around me and grab my gun easily, compared to it being on my strong side hip. Especially if it were 4/5 o clock positions.
Cross/Calvary draw come from the Calvaries of both the United States Army and the Confederate States Army during the Civil War. It's the best carry method if you drive a car and carry on your person. Because this method is the least used it's least expected you'll pull out a gun when you reach for the 9 or 10 O'Clock position. Off body carry is preferred by the younger generation using a small sling bag across the chest as shown @12:12 but the younger generation isn't normally using a bag with a dedicated holster instead it's a designer bag.
We haven't tested that exact model but 2011/1911 holsters are universal fit and fit most 1911s. Your 4.15 heritage will most likely fit. Check it out here: bit.ly/41rSDFX 🤙
a side selector safety is also not the end all be all its redundancy they can and do fail so yes that trigger guard should be covered even if its not a trigger safety.
Do you have a recommendation for carrying while riding a bicycle? Wearing form fitting clothing most of the time. I guess I might need a dedicated bag attached to the bike.
They have specific fanny packs or bags that can be put around your back or chest that are made to store a fun securely and they make it fast to get out compared to regular bags
I practice good situational awareness and carry in a sling bag. If u get a bag that has a compartment for the gun and then another compartment, u can carry your car keys, wallet, phone, whatever u use all the time with the gun on purpose. You dont get very far without your car keys etc. I'm addicted to my smart phone like just about anyone else and thus carrying that phone with the gun forces that habbit of that bag goes everywhere I go. I prefer the convenience of the bag because I can wear whatever I want and most people don't automatically think that guy has a gun. If I have to go through a situation I can't otherwise avoid, I take the time to go around a corner and reposition that gun into a coat pocket in hand on purpose. Otherwise I also train swing the bag, unzip pull aim fire. Statically, if u are practicing good situational awareness you are more likely to be involved in a mass shooting than "let your guard down" and not see the situation coming. Just pay attention to anyone within your 21 feet rule.
Wow I just learned that I have a crappy holster. Which always had the butt sticking straight up or away from me. I genuinely thought my stomach was too big
I’m thinking about ankle carry at work when I’m on job sites since I wear jeans and cowboy boots so off my pants come up my boots are still covering the holster and gun but hip carry for every day anyone have good advice or and opinion to share about my idea?
This is going to be controversial but bare with me: LE or CV who become trainers do so with this engrained mentality that they have authority over other people. This comes from their experience with arrest power and participating in the court process after an incident. This doesn't translate well to civilian concealed carry because it gives citizens the impression that by carrying a gun and a CWP, they now have a duty to participate in some emergency act. It doesn't and shouldn't. Example: acts of violence are actually rare. It's because most civilians take precautions to avoid violence (such as not going out at night, going to known dangerous places, etc). When it does happen, most people run to get away from the situation. When you can't run, most people inherently deescalate (by complying or pleading for mercy). My point is that the behaviors we use for self preservation shouldn't change simply because you're carrying a weapon. This means that if someone approaches you to rob you and you're carrying, you must still weigh whether simply handing over your wallet is better or worse for your situation. You don't want to get shot while you're drawing your gun. It should be your last resort as a civilian. We're not off duty cops, we have no need to participate if we don't have to! Just run away! Additionally, and this is the most controversial statement I'll make. A person with a knife coupled with training and deception is FAR deadly than any person carrying ANY gun in ANY position. Think - you have a gun. I have a knife but you don't know I have a knife. I talk to you in such a way that you let you guard down. If you let me get you in a corner or I'm "seemingly harmless" enough that you let me get within 3 feet of you - it's already over. You'll be too busy focusing on getting your gun out of your holster to realize that I've already bear hugged, got you on the ground and now I'm poking and your screaming in a panic fumbling around with your gun. The gun should be a part of your overall weapon system. A major part of your weapon system is your MIND! Carry a gun but first - DON'T BE IN THE DANGEROUS SITUATION IN THE FIRST PLACE! DON'T LET A PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE PERSON GET CLOSE OR BEHIND YOU! MAKE YOU CAN'T GET TRAPPED BY A WALL IF YOU TRY TO RUN! USE YOUR WORDS TO DEESCALATE AND TALK THEM DOWN! AND IF BY CHANCE YOU ACTUALLY DO NEED TO DRAW YOUR GUN, FOR GOODNESS SAKES USE DECEPTION! COMPLIMENT THEM OR DROP YOUR WALLET, WHATEVER, IN THE TIME IT TAKES THEM TO BLINK OR LOSE FOCUS, YOU SHOULD ALREADY YOUR WEAPON OUT. THIS AIN'T THE OLD WEST, DRAWING YOUR WEAPON SHOULD ALWAYS BE A LAST RESORT SURPRISE!
They make holsters that are designed to catch or clip to the pants so only the gun comes out. Or u can buy a holster that only covers the trigger guard, have it all come out, drop the holster and go
Not if you’re my size it isn’t! I’m 6’8” and 300 lbs, and all appendix carry would do for me is to remove something irreplaceable below the belt! As a driver for several years up to 12-13 hours a day seated, nothing is more practical or comfortable or faster to access than a shoulder holster. Once I get up though, then it’s IWB for me, but I could never get comfortable with appendix carry regardless. Just behind my right hip and I forget it’s there. I wish I had the body type for appendix, because that would cover both driving and out of the car.

Appreciate the support 👍
Shoulder holster since spine surgery I can't keep weight on my hips and I usually need a back brace on. I had to stop carrying until I found the shoulder rig that spreads the weight on my shoulder and upper back without adding much stress on lower back.
Only positions I have found that I can carry are shoulder, chest, or drop leg/thigh,
I hope you're surgery went well hope you are doing well
Interesting he not even once mentioned SoB carry.
365 with extended grip is $
The LCP series is awesome, my partner pocket carries one and I'm thinking about getting one for myself since hers fits under my skirts a lot better than my ppk/s lol
...Wait until you discover the new 'Bodyguard 2.0'...😉
I’ve used a bellyband that utilizes a Kydex holster for years. It works very well for me. I’m surprised this was not mentioned.
To each their own with ample training. But guys this was the most excellent video clear concise how to advise. My compliments
Shoulder holsters are very useful for people who do a lot of driving. It doesn't interfere with seatbelts and is easy to draw while sitting.
I'm a delivery driver and I carry appendix while driving and it sucks and it's stupid and I hate it. lol
I'm always worried that if I'm in a crash the seatbelt is going to crush the holster into me and cause an injury where there wouldn't have been otherwise.
Thanks for watching, Merry Christmas!
I have a Certum3 for AIWB and an Enigma setup for my 43x. Perfect combo for almost any situation.
🤙
YOU FORGOT BARREL UP SHOULDER HOLSTER FOR CCW under a dress shirt w/o sport coat!!?? Learned that one from Massad Ayoob!
34 for ccw is crazy, i love it :p
If you have any idea of grappling or BJJ appendix carry is better. It’s easier to defend especially if you are taken to the ground
I could see the shoulder holster for carrying a large gun as a secondary. I could also see either the ankle or shoulder holster as an option for someone who spends a lot of time driving, and the seat belt could cause issues with the cover garment.
I use a shoulder holster when I am wearing sweat pants and a light jacket.
I can have my pocket carry gun out and sighted before my friend has even touched the butt of his Glock on his hip at 3 o’clock.
"rage days"
@@tenicorusa😂. Well, it’s not exactly wrong…
😂
For me the most comfortable is my Sig P365 in a Vedder pocket holster. I have it on me 16 hours a day, even lounging around at home.
Here in the Philippines, the gun law does not allow inside body carry. So we use quick draw sling bags or waist bag for our edc.
I just bought the same gun and the salesman did not recommend a pocket carry holster. Do you need really big pockets for this?
This is exactly why I do both pocket and bag carry. Bag carry on chest normally but then I switch to pocket carry hand on gun and ready if need be
Shoulder holster is handy in a car or otherwise when seated. It requires dedication and I don’t use it much. It’s also useful for old guys that have to pee every ten minutes.
You're forgetting an important advantage of pocket carry: you can pre-stage your gun without raising suspicion.
Valid.
Been pocket carrying from day one. DeSantis Nemesis holsters are my go to. And it is accurate to say that the pocket size is key. In cooler months, I can wear some cargo work pants that have BIG pockets. I can carry a Shield Plus in my pocket without issue.
👍
We don't currently have FN in our list of guns to expand to in 2024 but a year is a long time to make stuff happen. 🤙
7:30 99% of the time people pocket carry because they need to be very discrete or its summer and you are wearing shorts.
Just wear a belt under your shorts.
I find having multiple options is important though, or at least one other option... Most of the time I prefer shoulder carry(yes im one of the weird ones) but depending on what im wearing it's not always an option. Got myself a nice comfortable jacket to wear in most weather for most outings that works well for shoulder carry.
I carry a nickel 220 made in 1987. Inside the waistband with no holster, been doing it for years. When I get in my car I set it on my lap.
It's on YT.
I often carry with a shoulder holster. Sometimes I don't feel like wearing a belt or just because it is comfortable for me
Love this video and the thought into every carry position scenario.
Appreciate the support and definitely something to be said for shoulder carry if you're on a bike a lot.
What about IWB in the small of your back?
We generally steer clear. It's difficult to access, tends to print a lot, and can potentially result in pretty serious injury if you fall on your back (which would not be unusual in a fight).
Great professional video .i too have a chanel but of gaming and I think the smooth editing x background etc..taught me something
🔥
Confirmed.

@@tenicorusa☝️ understood the assignment 😅
This is alot of very valuable info. Thanks... Keep it up...👍🏽🤙🏾🇹🇹
Thanks for watching 👍
My take away. Think through your needs and if you have more than one method then practice enough to be proficient.
Exactly 👍
Small of back carry (SOB) 6 oclock is great to conceal full size firearms
Appendix carry in winter. Off-body cross bag in summer.
👍
Love your videos Jeff!
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate the support! 🤙
What about below the waistband like the urban carry holsters? I would like to hear his opinion.
solid video dawg!!
Appreciate the support 👍
Cross/Calvary draw come from the Calvaries of both the United States Army and the Confederate States Army during the Civil War.
It's the best carry method if you drive a car and carry on your person.
Because this method is the least used it's least expected you'll pull out a gun when you reach for the 9 or 10 O'Clock position.
Off body carry is preferred by the younger generation using a small sling bag across the chest as shown @12:12 but the younger generation isn't normally using a bag with a dedicated holster instead it's a designer bag.
When it comes to otw cross draw I feel that even being more vulnerable it was my fastest draw time
I’d buy tenicor right now if they had one for my P07
Please make a Certum 3 for the staccato p 4.15 heritage
We haven't tested that exact model but 2011/1911 holsters are universal fit and fit most 1911s. Your 4.15 heritage will most likely fit.
Check it out here: bit.ly/41rSDFX 🤙
a side selector safety is also not the end all be all its redundancy they can and do fail so yes that trigger guard should be covered even if its not a trigger safety.
💯
I use a belly band as my primary and I have a 380 in a wallet that I pocket carry as a backup or when I am just running to the gym
Missed the brassiere clip and the thigh garter holster....
Miss Kitty's good ol' Sweaty Titty gun!
Kenai chest holster
If you got a Glock 40mos 10mm it’s kinda nice to have a chest/side mount holster.
As a pastor I carry in a shoulder holster, as I tend to wear a lot of jackets.
Not unreasonable but a good concealment IWB or OWB holster would still be our preference in a suit.
Great stuff. 🤘🤘
I have seen many people carry on IWB on the lower back. It just never made any sense to me. What do you think?
Thanks for another great video! Loving my new Velo4. 👍
Glad you like it and we appreciate the support!
Very good video. Good info.
I’m thinking about ankle carry at work when I’m on job sites since I wear jeans and cowboy boots so off my pants come up my boots are still covering the holster and gun but hip carry for every day anyone have good advice or and opinion to share about my idea?
What do you think about the VNSH holster? Thanks in advance!
Haven't used one.
Multiple firearms any ideas?
What about the bra holsters that clip to the front center of the bra being convealed under breast? Seems a good place to have it not seen at least
My gf carried this way and said maternity shirt was best cuz it naturally went away from the body the lower u go, hiding the gun
I Appendix carry due to mainly I have Hip issues and a bad shoulder i'm a left handed shooter
Very informative video. Thank you
Does anyone know the type of watch the speaker has on?
SEIKO SRPD27 Prospex AKA “Monster”
I appendix carry a Glock 26 no need for holster, just takes up concealment space.
Please make sure u are also using an aftermarket hair trigger too 😅 ✌️
How does a pocket holster stay in the pocket when pulling out the firearm
They make holsters that are designed to catch or clip to the pants so only the gun comes out. Or u can buy a holster that only covers the trigger guard, have it all come out, drop the holster and go
Surprised that belly bands were not mentioned
Pull over hoodies are the only con to shoulder holsters of 2024
what about your Wrist or round your neck?
You missed the most advantages aspect of appendix carry: The gun is the very easily accessible in a seated position, especially in a vehicle.
Totally disagree. Seated position is one of the main reasons to go to a 3-4 o'clock IWB. Might work if you are a skinny girl.
Hell no you very wrong🤦♂️🤡
Nice vid man
We appreciate it. 🤙
seatbelts fit over sling bags!!! That Vertx sling will not fit anything else except maybe a wallet, if there is a firearm in the CC pocket...

Is the chest holster/carry just not worth mentioning?
For fat people it's not 😅
