Listen. Thank you for this. I have been dealing with some tough times. I really needed to hear this.
I cried watching this video. I can't thank the people who have inspired this video. It's something that we all needed. You have inspired me all the more thank you. I especially like that you put sayings about God in this video.
On top of my music I am also an inspirational and motivational speaker. There were other dreams like wanting to be an evangelist or a traveling missionary, professor and more but life, experiences and years brought changes other aspirations which are similar.
I learned that my identity was to become an encourager and more. It took me a lot to get to where I'm at and I'm still working to get there.
My heroes where Martin Luther King, mother Teresa and more who inspired me to do similar things they did.
I've been very disciplined since I was a kid and I went to college for a certain time but I've gone through a lot and I learned everything on my own the hard way but although I ran into obstacles I kept going and never gave up.
So anyone who's never given up it's like you actually got your doctorate whether you went to college or not. Because in the struggles, pain and failures and never giving up and continuing to build your dreams and your life that means you worked hard.
I had some naysayers and even abusers who we're mean and didn't believe in me and I had to work so hard to not doubt myself and not believe them.
Sometimes I delayed my life in order to please other people and taking too much time for them and helping them but the more that I worked to understand myself and others I finally started really doing what I wanted to do.
So there's no need to worry because no matter how old you are God will continue to help you move forward.
So I appreciate this video so very much because the whole thing explained a lot of me. Thank you for telling me that no matter what anybody thinks of us, even the obstacles and the failures made me and moved me to succeed.

After father's death early in my childhood and then falling in love with someone for 12yrs, getting engaged and then her leaving just to marry someone else in her workplace, I've lost everything or atleast I thought I lost. But then slowly listening to this and many other videos I gave up my mind of suicidal thoughts and became strong with time. I lived for my mother, brother and most importantly I started living for myself. I've been through hard times but no more now.

The pain is temporary, but greatness lasts forever. Feed off the doubters. All reps add up. Trust me. Go all out. Give everything you got. The extra mile is a lonely road. Run it. And go an extra mile. You only get one chance in life be great. It dosen't matter how big, how fast, or how strong you are. The only thing that matters is your heart, effort, and work ethic. Let me tell you how that Never Give Up mentality was great and terrible all at the same time. You see I was that gifted young athlete who knew he had what it took to play professional baseball. I was prepared to work harder than anyone else, stay focused, believe and never ever quit. So when on 9/11/84 I broke my neck playing football and was paralyzed from the neck down, I Stijl held on to that belief. Even though my Dr said I would never walk again, and to be prepared to use a wheelchair for the rest of my life. 7 days later an opportunity to recover presented itself with the movement of my left leg. So I never quit, and I never stopped working. You all think your struggles are hard, imagine losing 30 lbs and all of your strength. Having to rebuild your entire body, with only a fraction of the brain sending signals to your muscles to tell them to fire and grow. Yet I never gave up, I never stopped believing. Sure my recovery was what they call a miracle, but it was never and would never be a full recovery. There is no such thing with a spinal cord injury. But did I quit, nope. I just spiraled deeper and deeper into depression and anger because I didn’t know how to stop trying, how to let go of what just wasn’t going to happen. Why? Because of this mentality that if you just outwork everyone and stay focused. Eventually my life turned for the worse and I snapped. ESPN glorified Kevin Everett and Adam Talifarrio, because they were major DI and professional athletes. They made them hero’s for what they went through. But because I was only 14, they told me I was a nobody. But here I had overcame what was not possible. Eventually I finally figured out that while the never quit and work harder mentality is necessary tool for achieving one’s goals, it is also not the only way to look at life. Knowing when to let go is just as important. This isn’t saying you quit, it’s knowing when you have exhausted every possibility and it didn’t happen. That’s not failure, that is life. What I had failed to even notice the whole time I had thought I had failed because I didn’t become a professional athlete, was that I had accomplished the near impossible. I had started speaking to students and changed their lives. I had made a difference in others lives. It was much more gratifying than playing a game. So just remember to keep everything in perspective. Not everything is possible, but almost everything. ☺️

If you came up to me and said "big foot exists" and I said " no he doesnt" you would not say "well you cant prove he DOESNT exist therefore he definantly does exist" it is impossible to disprove the existance of anything, can you disprove fairies? Unicorns? Santa? No you cannot bc there is no way to disprove the existance of something. Therefore the burden of proof falls on the person trying to PROVE the existance of something. Also there is a ton of scientific evidence to support evolution so idk what you're on about. Sit down
@@timothyzaritskyy common mis alignment of the burden of proof. Evolution, and the big bang theory can be proved via scientific methods, god however currently cannot. And yes we do not know what caused the big bang theory, but just bc we dont know doesnt mean we are assuming anything. We KNOW the big bang occurred, we just dont know what caused it, but you cannot make claims from ignorance such as "well we dont know what caused the big bang therefore it must be god". Even if you go back to the big bang and scientists then say "according to what we've seen there is no other possible way other than god" which is yet to happen, and never will happen but just for the sake of argument. That only gets you as far as deism how then do you know which god, that yours is right, or that the god is even an interfering god at all or just knew who created the universe and let it takes its course. EVEN if you could come to the conclusion that a god exists, it would just be a craps shoot as to which one.

You're still on mission. Your ship is your home and your crew is your family. Its a battlefield right here too. God is your commander and you are the chief officer of your unit. Try to find the patterns in both lifestyles and apply your Navy principals and protocols to give yourself structure and discipline.
And get with a support group or mentor!!!!! You were a team when you were active duty and that brotherhood is still here. FIND your support contacts and let them help you!!! We need you here just as much ;)

I wake up everyday at 4am work till 3pm, be at the gym by 5pm, home by 6:30pm, hang out with my gf for a few hours and repeat. I won’t ever stop mark my words been doing it for a year my life changed ever since.

@@beatricelangariti8389 I've being doing it for awhile now but believe me it's worth it, it has a lot of advantages physically and mentally. Before I was depressed and a lot of other things and every morning I wake up tired and feeling sick because I used to sleep more than 6/7 hours. I wanted to change my life and started by changing little things and I started with this .
It reduces stress and makes you happy
It helps you deal with negativity
It keeps you healthy and specially I'm a morning person
And off course I don't always wake up so early for instance If I'm going out with friends or there is a party and sometimes in the weekends but you should try it . Thank you and have a nice day ! (Sorry for any english mistakes)

99% of the footage is about people working out but this can be applied to any aspect of your life. I have no interest in stepping into a gym or lifting a weight but I watch these videos to keep me motivated. I'm a woodworker and can apply these motivational speeches to my work to help me push harder. So don't think this is just about getting ripped or being able to lift more, it's about achieving your self-goals and bettering your own life.
