I'm not as picky about technical specs for the shoes, I just hope Reebok put something out again soon that looks for the most part like the original.
Bruh, I just don't get why Reebok doesn't get how much of a billion dollar sneaker history it has in it's inventory. Like that whole BB Reebok line was legendary when I was growing up. Yet Reebok just hasn't released these sneakers in the right color ways and with the right materials and details of the originals. I just don't get it.
Awesome video...great stuff as always. BB 4600 is a grail for me. I picked up a pair of the retro white/red ones with the vintage look. The tag on the inside looks just like the 80s original ones and says the "Athlete's Shoe" and references 90 years which is a cool touch for a retro shoe. I really hope like you that they do a 30 year retro of the white and royal colorway. I had those in the 4th grade in 1988. I bought an original new pair in little kids size because I just wanted to have a pair to look at. The cool thing is since it was a kids shoe it only cost me $35 for a pair in DS condition. Keep up the great work man!
Also the size tag has no bar code on the retro off white red ones...Just the size and country of production. Reebok did a perfect retro. They need to do the same thing with a white and royal colorway in 2016!
+Michael Cely I agree they should do another retro. Where did you get the white/red retro? I didn't think they released in the US. I saw them on Reebok's UK site but they wouldn't ship them overseas which I was going to rant about in my video. One more thing I decided not to include is that originals were produced in Korea and new ones are usually made in China or Indonesia.
+kevin15776 I got mine off Ebay from a UK seller. It only came to about $72 shipped so I got a steal. Funny thing is the shoes were about $50 with approximately $22 for shipping. They are made in China (at least my pair is) and my kids original pair is made in Korea. However, my original pair doesn't have the Pat Pending on it. Perhaps post 1986 productions didn't have it I would assume?
+Michael Cely Yeah I thought they were a UK only release. I saw them on eBay but they didn't have my size. Maybe the kids sizes came after the original 1986 ones.

i have a pair with the rubberized reebok logo on the side but it is made in Thailand. has the reebok marking on the inside as well as the yellowing glue stains though not the patent pending, wonder what year mine is
Hello, They also had a pair in the 80's that looked similar to yours at the end that were the same color white/royal blue but didn't have the stitched reebok logo on the outside/inside of the outer part of the shoe i guess was rare in men's size but seen them a'lot in infant & kids sizes but i loved them that way they were made but they were expensive at my mall back them, i have a pair with the double stitched reebok logo on both sides like yours and they are so comfortable and warm in the winter.
Hello, thanks for the video. Question, you stated on the tag that if it’s 86’ it will say “ a tradition of over 90 years”. I have a pair of BB6600 tag says “ over 80 years “ would that make my pair older than 1986? Any advice would be appreciated. THX

@@kevin15776 yeah... The pair I have here are literally different in most ways with what you've just highlighted in the video. Hi Kevin. I've just bought a pair of reissue bb4600 in turquoise and orange. The side logo is embroidered, and the rear Reebok is in the early style but with no registered symbol.
