I disagree with this comment and here’s why: Us quad guys are few and far between. The more mainstream they become, the better for us consumers. Also, like it or not, the AI clickbait works for getting more views, allowing our guy Mike to do more cool builds.
Really enjoying this build so far, keep riding dirt bikes and you know you will get better! one day you will look back and laugh at where you were lol.
Like always sweet work Mike!!!! That lathe really does come in handy!!! I need one of them now😂 Thanks. I love FMF but Akrapovic is the way to go for KTM
On the lathe , always center drill first then use a twist drill bit. That way it will stay centered and wont wobble. Goggle center drills for a picture, im sure you have one in the lathe tooling draw
New to your channel. Found this build in my feed. Enjoying the KTM build so far. Will definitely be watching more of your videos. Funny thing is your powder coating place in only about 45 minutes from me.
Depression is a serios thing........... but thanks to today's sponsor better help. LOL bike is going to be sick bro. I like the holographic look I think
Man can really see in this video your workout program is working. Probably all the riding too, which is also good exercise. As always the current built (KTM) looks awesome!
Very cool parts you've got so far mate! I wouldn't know what colour graphics to recommend to you, so I'll leave that to your better judgement. I know that your favourite colour is green, so probly stick with some shade of green & you'll be happy! Can't wait till you get the metalwork back from the painters & powdercoaters & anodisers etc, & then watch you put these beautiful parts back together! It's gonna be so cool!
Right on man. It’s so satisfying fabricating something for a build. Everything on ktm is built tough and appealing. And that’s a hard decision. I’d get it in both shades. And I got faith in your race entry. Set goals and chip away at them.
The gpi radiators are actually decent.!. I was out of state, and cracked a kx250 stock one, being on a almost 2week trip/ a buddy found a set of gpi radiators for cheap and only 12miles away from where we were, bought emm, installed them, and here I am on 4yrs rocking them with no issues .!.
Mike I started racing a few years ago and I practiced the best I knew how. My brother recommended going to a training day to learn how to ride better. I'm telling you I learned so much in those 4 hrs! Find a good place and go do it. You'll thank me later.
If your going full enduro and trail bike I would suggest bibs instead of tubes. I ride tight single track rocky rooty trails just something I figured I'd throw out there. Love the way the bike is coming out keep up the hard work
When measuring depth with those Mitutoyo digital calipers just set the base of the “tail” of the calipers on the top of the object, as you measure the slide portion will then extend past the “tail” until it contacts the measured depth. This will provide a stable platform and the most accurate depth 👍🏻
The holographic graphics scream supermoto young rider. Definitely just prefer normal graphics. Every supermoto in my area have the holographic graphics.
Mike, dont worry about the welds or your technique. Technique only really matters when welding things that are structural. That little piece you welded on the frame is fine. As long as both parts are melted you'll be fine. Always focus the heat on the thicker piece. Hold lonnger on the thicker part.
I think you should do one of the yellow, holographic, not all of them that way it's not too much, try it anyway cause the yellow looks cool how it goes to orange blue and green I think it would look good
Lathe cut off tool looked correct but is old school and will not be fast. May need sharpened plus center height is critical, if you’re to high it’ll cut like crap. Rpm plays a critical role also. Use a center drill before running a drill in the lathe for it to cut on center and not run out like crazy
The blue and yellow holographic might look nice as an outline/accent on the "39" in legend, maybe blue on the front fender to pop against the yellow, and the yellow on the "39 in legend on the side to pop with the blue. could also do something similar with the UR on the swing arm
Hey Mike, Im having a problem finding the link for the lathe. looked like it worked very well and would like to order one!...all jokes aside can't wait for the rest of the build series.
The orbital sander seemed to take longer on the clutch cover because that has what's called a "hard coat". Many companies including Pioneer Metal Finishing can apply that to aluminum. It raises the Rockwell from ~15 to 65 or so on the surface. Similar to a tool steel.
Do you have any tips when getting a frame powder coated? The one important thing I’ve picked up is to keep a little rectangle around the vin number. Anything else I have to remember or tell the powder coat firm?
hey mike take it form ive raced with the Titanium headers and pipes and there super easy to get mangled up when falling when u race run a pipe guard to save sum cash
Yeah Sabo! You better stop doing "your" thing on "your" channel. You got some nerve not checking in with us before you just unilaterally start making changes. We're not mad just disappointed...😂
Put a bladder kit in the rear shock, it will help with the square end bumps. Also, Ride JBI has some awesome suspension valving options. What model and year bike is this?
Hey mr Sabo, Im from the uk is there any chance of purchasing an exact copy of the yamaha blaster crispy sandwich decals for my quad build please would that be possible. Please let me know. Paul.
lol i don't get the hate on the thumbnail being AI, that its not authentic or genuine, however if you're an avid Sabo fan you know no matter what its gonna be authentic and real. TBH the thumbnail caught my eye, and hyped me up EDIT: this was before the raid shadow legends bit and literally i was like oh no lmaoo
Please don’t use AI for the thumbnails Mike, usually when I see ai pictures i want to look away from it lol keeping it real is the way to go
Yes I thought the same thing
I will 2nd this just because I didn't realize it was sabo because of the thumbnail
Like your opinion matters that much never heard of someone being so offended over ai
I disagree with this comment and here’s why:

Fucking hell guys just enjoy the content 😂😂 and appreciate that he is putting it out for FREE that’s all you need to care about
Real-image thumbnails look a lot better in my opinion. As always I'm a huge fan of the channel and your workmanship
Best part of the day is when you can finally sit down and watch a Michael Sabo video. Wish I could watch a new one every day! You're the man, Sabo!
The plan to enter a race after completing the bike is wild! The stakes have never been higher to make the best performing bike.
Definitely go with the classic graphics material
david goggins shirt is great i got a hoodie great to see one of my favorite creators supporting another one of my favorite creators
Really enjoying this build so far, keep riding dirt bikes and you know you will get better! one day you will look back and laugh at where you were lol.
Glad you're enjoying the build man. I'm hoping to look back and do just that!
Always putting out good content, always 100% real/humble and the humor is perfect. And its all about my favorite hobby
Like always sweet work Mike!!!! That lathe really does come in handy!!! I need one of them now😂 Thanks. I love FMF but Akrapovic is the way to go for KTM
I like the traditional graphics. Keep up the work!
On the lathe , always center drill first then use a twist drill bit. That way it will stay centered and wont wobble. Goggle center drills for a picture, im sure you have one in the lathe tooling draw
I’m sure whatever you pick will be dope. As always can’t wait to see the finished product
G'day, Mike, got all the goodies to make the KATO next level mate, looking forward to seeing it being put back together. Cool stuff
New to your channel. Found this build in my feed. Enjoying the KTM build so far. Will definitely be watching more of your videos. Funny thing is your powder coating place in only about 45 minutes from me.
I like the comic book thumbnails.Makes it more interesting!
That RAID bit was hilarious!!! Earlier when you mentioned depression all I could think was Mike please no more better help ads! LOL!!
Your channel is fricken awesome you always got cool stuff your doing on the show.
Depression is a serios thing........... but thanks to today's sponsor better help. LOL bike is going to be sick bro. I like the holographic look I think
Always enjoy your projects, a dream of mine, maybe someday
Go all out with the holographic stickers. I think they look amazing.
Man can really see in this video your workout program is working. Probably all the riding too, which is also good exercise. As always the current built (KTM) looks awesome!
Love seeing the videos about dirt bikes. Getting my 2006 Honda crf250r built and ready to run 😊
Very cool parts you've got so far mate! I wouldn't know what colour graphics to recommend to you, so I'll leave that to your better judgement. I know that your favourite colour is green, so probly stick with some shade of green & you'll be happy!

The raid shadow legends joke was freaking hilarious 😂
Always a good day when Mike sabo posts
Loved the holographic looks awesome 😊😊😊😊😊
i think a mix of both holographic and regular colors would look super cool
Yes I use those discs too! Can’t go wrong with them!
GPI makes some stellar rads. I ran Mishimoto on all my 450 quads but I started off with GPI and had no complaints
kislux I love you so much and watching your videos makes my day brighter
Your videos make my day
Thanks and keep up the good work
Absolutely love this guy! Inspired me to buy a 2000 CR250R. Always look forward to your videos
First here love you sabo you inspired me to rebuild bikes
I have a neighbor kid who used those rads. Broke the very first spill he took. Also his bike ran a little warm with them. Good luck truely.
ktm ftw forever and always
The bike is gonna be so 🔥
its comin together!
Go with the chrome😍
inspiring brother
Nice! Love this build
If your going full enduro and trail bike I would suggest bibs instead of tubes. I ride tight single track rocky rooty trails just something I figured I'd throw out there. Love the way the bike is coming out keep up the hard work
Crazy tumbnail. Nice vid.
maybe do the holo look on some of the accents? maybe some chevron accents to the original design in the holo. I think either way it will look sick!
I think mostly solid color graphics with some small holographic details would really pop!
Good vid keep up the bike vids

#4 holographic is badass
You need to let Robert urmosi get on that bike that dudes a legend
I used GPI radiators on my 2008 ktm250xcw build and so far they are working great. They fit well and seem to be fairly durable.
The holographic graphics scream supermoto young rider. Definitely just prefer normal graphics. Every supermoto in my area have the holographic graphics.
The "L39END" part in that holographic would be cool
Mike, dont worry about the welds or your technique. Technique only really matters when welding things that are structural. That little piece you welded on the frame is fine. I personally like the chrome holographic look better than the straight up colors. Just adds that extra pop. But regardless choose what you like best.
As far as I’m concerned the gpi radiators are very worth it. Have a set on my old wr 250f they fit well and you can’t beat the price
Lathe cut off tool looked correct but is old school and will not be fast. May need sharpened plus center height is critical, if you’re to high it’ll cut like crap. Rpm plays a critical role also.
Use a center drill before running a drill in the lathe for it to cut on center and not run out like crazy
Tool stickout was also quite long
A drill, tap and shoulder bolt are time savers!! Where is your center drill? And who ground the tool used in the first lathe scene?
As always Mike, BulTaco!
You sould make some LTZ 400 merch
The blue and yellow holographic might look nice as an outline/accent on the "39" in legend, maybe blue on the front fender to pop against the yellow, and the yellow on the "39 in legend on the side to pop with the blue. could also do something similar with the UR on the swing arm

What soft bar clamps would you recommend for a 2001 cr125
hey mike take it form ive raced with the Titanium headers and pipes and there super easy to get mangled up when falling when u race run a pipe guard to save sum cash
more dirtbikes pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
chrome yellow and flat grey
great vid
Let's gooooo!

Where are you getting refurbished power tools and the like from??? That would be a really good idea for us builders on a budget
Def should go to district 6 xc
Gotta name this one “orange crush” the sister to Grape Ape lol
Ai thumbnail is sick bro don’t listen to the haters
I thought he was building an electric dirt bike from the thumbnail 😂
hi gust wodering. where you get your plastics
8:50 LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO
Hey Mike. What’s with the Bultaco label?
Do work!! Wow 9K? That's insane.
Where did you get that Partzilla gorilla shirt? I looked on website but could not find it. Thx love the build
LEEEETS GOOOO!!!
Im not realy a fan of the ai stuff but if u like them🤷🏼♂️ but keep up the work👍
Building the bike like you are will make competing with it 100% worth it.
Hey Mike, what would be a good 2 stroke bike engine to put in a Yamaha Warrior? Not a 125 it's got to be at least a 250. I would think.
STAY HARD!
Maybe do the lettering in holographic and keep your color scheme the same. That might look cool
im sorry but KTM is all about akropovic not FMF.
also the color name ur looking for is chartreuse.
It is 😂😂 fmf is not that good on ktm 😂
But akeopovic is much more expentsif then fmf
I love me some Papa John's!! 😂
Hey mr Sabo,
Im from the uk is there any chance of purchasing an exact copy of the yamaha blaster crispy sandwich decals for my quad build please would that be possible.
Please let me know.
Paul.
ok ok ok.. you got me... Im prolly the only one cheap enough.. I searched for the lath link smdh... goodone Mcswole ..
No you’re not. I was about to go look too 😂😂
link to the lathe please
Mike got himself a KTM now he’s going for that Ronnie renner look 😂😂😂
Love the new thumbnail🔥💪🏼
You need an end drill to start the hole in the lathe.
lol i don't get the hate on the thumbnail being AI, that its not authentic or genuine, however if you're an avid Sabo fan you know no matter what its gonna be authentic and real. TBH the thumbnail caught my eye, and hyped me up
EDIT: this was before the raid shadow legends bit and literally i was like oh no lmaoo
Use the chrome look for small details only.
