- The awesome demolition of the three 300ft disused cooling towers and chimney stack at Richborough Power Station in Kent on 11/3/2012 at 9:00am. One of the best views you will get as we had the front row! The detonations could be heard over 230 miles away!

you certainly had a much better viewpoint than we did, although the intensity of the blasts set our car alarms off 400mtres past the towers towards sandwich !!!
i think the comment in your footage "HOLY FUCK" said it all....and it sure seemed stranged driving past there again this afternoon and not seing them, it just shows how we took for granted as part of the landscape for many years.

They should not have been destroyed. They were a landmark, they have been there my whole life. The choice to destroy them disgusted me. Those who backed it up should be ASHAMED.
