I've been performing this one for years, but never had a chance to upload it before. And yes, I'm aware that I sang the lyrics wrong, "such a fine line" [I said fine wine]. It's an old bad habit. I used to sing it that way, and then corrected it, but still slip up once in a while. You can see me smile a little bit afterwards, realizing I'd done it again. :)
I was in Utah for a little while (I no longer live in Utah, since I moved to Colorado in the fall of 2014), so I took the opportunity to do a Pie gig for old times’ sake. I was joined my Jeff Hall, Sterling Cottam, Brenda Andrus-Olsen, Dave Hall (Jeff’s brother), and Bryce Bloom (who usually plays in a duo with me in the Denver area, but also happened to be in town).

The ambiance is good there. It somehow creates a special and light atmosphere. I prefer Mike's videos shot in that Pizzeria.

As usual a great rendition. Love the slide guitar. What's not to like? This inspires me much to keep writing and practicing. The greatest music, to me, came from the 60s and 70s....so much each year and all the styles that influenced millions. Wish we could all go back but since we can't I am thankful for these songs on RUclips!

Holy smokes ...first time hearing this cover ...I have a group of musician friends who meet at the beach in NorCal in Half Moon Bay with their kids and we each get to pick a song ..I chose Heart of Gold cause I remember hearing it as a 5 year old on the radio and loving it ..and always knowing the "I've been to Hollywood..I've been to Redwood " was bunk ...we have Hollywood and we have Redwoods...but we don't have have a place called Redwood..this is the version I want my friends and their kids to hear ..nice job fellas
