- This song is a copyright of Static-X & i don't own it in any way, shape, or form. Lyrics:
Will these dreams still follow me
Out of dark obscurity?
Can't you see it up in the sky
As it kicks you in the UNLESS YOU DIE
You never had the answers
And now you tell me the facts of life
I really couldn't be bothered with you
Get out of my face and watch me die
Burning inside! Burning inside!
Absolution and a frozen room
Are the dreams of men below
I try to grab it but the touch is hot
The mirror collapses, but the image came not
I'm scared of the darkness in the light
I scare myself because I know I'm right
I see the evil in your savage eye
As it cuts right through the sky
Burning inside! Burning inside!
Calling a mantra with a blade in the skin
For the demons within
I feel the pain is the death and decay
But the lesson never fades away
Too little shadows, turn away
You throw the man through the window pane
Another slave and a victim of fate
Another lesson in hate
Burning inside! Burning inside!
Wait
Is this my favorite Ministry song
Covered by one of my favorite industrial band
Featuring one of my favorite vocalist?
Yes. I believe this is.
Ikr
Im not guge into ministry but wayne and burton are too good together. I cant wait for monolith.
Obligatory R.I.P. Wayne
Precisely!
I realize you made this comment 2 years ago. But I have to say this. Ministry turned me metal in '88, then Fear Factory turned me METAL, in '92. Both bands roughly 30 years (!) ago. And then Wayne came along... Bands like this don't exist anymore which is an absolute shame.
@@gunthersquirrel5685 Oh man you're missing out if you think these kinds of bands don't exist anymore. Guys like 3Teeth,Gost,I'm going to say Ho99o9 even though they're more punk-industrial but definitely worth a look out. Author and Punisher is a one-man industrial genius. There's tons if you look,I promise.
Burton C Bell is a God.
Very respectable cover. Well done. RIP
Damn right. Indeed.
Wanye and Burton should have done way more collaborations between them or thier bands.
Absolutely. It's like poetry in motion. RIP Wayne... Pour one out for a real one...
This cover is absolutely soul-crushing.
Miss you tons Wayne
Grade 8 French Class.. We were asked to share a favorite song and translate into french.. Popular songs = Limp Bizkit.. Meanwhile.. I blare static x.. Needless to say the entire class/teacher is shocked beyond belief.. I headbang the entire song. BURNING INSIDE!!!!!!
I'm SO proud of you! 👍
THESE are happy tears!🤘😅
Good old days when song rivalries were inbetween nu metal bands instead of stupid rap artists nowadays…
@@itsdenizcankaya There was never any infighting in Nü Metal... And if we're being accurate, Static-X is Industrial, as-is Fear Factory (featured in this song), and this is a cover of Ministry.
Limp Bizkit is technically Rap Rock, a genre that is only sometimes Nü Metal, like Linkin Park, but is distinct all its own. LB only fell under Nü Metal because Fred was originally Jonathan Davis's protege, and well, because MTV said so. MTV said a lot of things. JD signed LB, along with the band Orgy.
Brûler en-dedans?
brulant a l'interieur
I am a HUGE Ministry fan, and I LOVE this cover
I love both the original version and this cover song
RIP Mr Static
This album will always hold a special place in my heart
I was listening to this exact song when my husband told me on skype that Wayne died... I cried :
Combo of 3 awesome elements. Ministry, Static x , and Burton C Bell. What else could you expect but pure freaking genius!
Great cover but Wayne has sandal sock.
RIP Wayne.
Bwahahaha, I noticed that too. What's with the cover, were these white boys born in the Barrio?
guiltyspark66 You tryna to get down holmes?
Ryan lmfao. Is this ryan from DasKlub?
Sandal socks killed him. It was a conspiracy.
Ha
I miss this band. They were awesome. R.I.P. Wayne❤️❤️
I only just recently learned that Burton was a guest vocalist on this. I always thought it was Max Cavalera with some rough mixing.
The best cover in the world
Wow I think this might be better than the original. I'm a huge Ministry fan too. I love me some X and Fear Factory too though. Love it!
definitely better than the original..no hate
killer cover from a couple badasses. thanks for upload...never knew it existed!
Not a bad cover. It's not that different than the Ministry version. Still prefer the original because I grew up listening to that album.
bull FUCKINSHITS ABOUND FUCKER
and there's nothing wrong with that, rock on my man!
The original is better, this is an interesting novelty though, especially since these types of songs are rarely covered.
yeah music is gay
@@andiarrohnds5163 sorry dude the only thing around here that's gay is music
This was my jam back in college 🤘🏻🥃🍺🍻🤘🏻
My favorite song from my childhood song love it still do
Static X kicks ass, how can yo go wrong with covering a Ministry song. And for flavor add Burton C. Bell.
Instant ass kicker.
My favorite album. BOSS
Love how there's no mention about The Crow: Salvation in comments. If this song would have been in some well known movie, there would be ridiculous amount of comments like "thumbs up if you heard this in..."
you play with fire you burn baby this song kick ass
This song and a lot of songs I’ve been finding from static x playlist are triggering my brain to want to obsessively train and workout and putting my brain into war mode fucking sick
How the fuck did I not know this existed????? This kicks ass!
Woot never heard this before,Static and FF hell yea!
Only If Burton and Wayne could of done a cover of People=Shit by Slipknot, that would be (SIC)!
Burton vocal chords sounds like there tearing and bleeding profusely, like the cover that don't happen much, crazy Wayne died
GREATEST cover ever
The best cover ever
Very fucking great
Excellent kick-ass song
ever since i heard it i knew i could die happy... cause its the best shiaznit
in the world mkay
ministry's version is all i need.
this is fire
Ultra Brutal
@TheStaticXRadio Good comeback bro! :D
Nice
fucking awesome... 3 great things...
THE CROW SALVATION....
@ForeverZero221 yea no kiddin, especially with how open they are supposed to be
That's where I first heard this song at, if that helps at all. I've never been a gigantic Static-X fan, but as far as covers go, this didn't go over too badly.
I give credit to anyone who covers a Ministry since they dont publish their lyrics. Then again, its not hard to hear the lyrics to this song
oh man 2.5 on a scale of 10!!!
Fuckin Burton Christopher Bell!
+1
yay tony
Fear factory+Static-×= win.?....
2020
2021 XD .
@@criterion5599 yes!!!
I liked this song before I heard it
@TheTakeruTakaishi Spell it right, which means put it correctly.
Why does a recording from 1989 sound far superior than one from 2000?
The riff is heavier, drums are okay, I like the samples, and the vocals aren't actually to bad. Also when someone covers a song they show respect for that band or they think of them as an influence, not to make it sound better.
*speak. He didn't *speak* it.
you gotta say Static-X does Hella better cover than limp bizkit
Idk witch version it was this or the original but I heard it blasting from someones car when I was in the line at Metlife for Wrestlemania yesterday
Alex Jones' bumper tracks brought me here!!!
The Crow had some awesome music for the first and third movies, but I don't know about the second movie. But, the fourth one, however, did not have a soundtrack and it was replaced by music scores and it sucked.
@katie030569 It's the same and only a minute longer lol!
@TheTakeruTakaishi "Didn't," "speak," space between comma and "he," no "has," "wrote," use a period to end sentence. Boom roasted.
@Neroese1 If you're going to have an opinion, at least spell it right.
Speak*
@TheStaticXRadio LOL
Not bad but i like the original song better but static x is still a good band
Eh, it was better than The Crow: Wicked Prayer.
what? is a good cover but ¿a lot better than the original? pfffff good cover...
Ministry did it better.
all these years later i wonder if the placement of the title on the cover was more than an aesthetic choice...
tripp was certainly beneath the band...
He's standing to the left of Wayne, tho.
@Living Dead Girl what's your point?
@@stephenoliveau Correcting you on which one is actually Tripp.
@Living Dead Girl "the placement of the *title* on the cover..." meaning the word "beneath" next to his head.
I didn't think that was Tripp crouched between Wayne and Tony. That's the replacement for Ken Jay, Nick.
Sorry if my wording was unclear. Just a dig at the guy for Shadow Zone and being a sex offender that impersonated his own impersonator to sleep with underage fans. 🤣🤦♂️
@@stephenoliveau Ohhhh gotchya! Lol. My bad, I totally thought you meant the dude crouched down who does resemble a pre-Meth Tripp. And yeah… we all know what Tripp did and it’s awful. Wayne was a helluva guy tho because he did fire him over that ish, even before there was any public outrage, and despite Tripp, sadly, being the first Static-X member Wayne felt he could collab with on writing. Absolutely everything else Static-X is 100% written (and usually recorded… even the bass & keyboards) by Wayne. Not only were the charges personally disturbing to Wayne (he did wait until they were substantiated to fire him), but the whole thing felt like yet another betrayal to him.
Just glad Tripp’s the exception, not the rule. I was only 15 going to some of the best shows, meeting some of my fav bands when they played smaller clubs. Everyone I’ve met, from then til now (20 years later… yikes), has been so kind, never creepy, always respectful, and absolutely no one got flirty with me til I was well into my 20s lol. And even then, just playful - not actually trying to get anything out of me or creeping. Never got the chance to meet Wayne, although thankfully I did get to see play a couple times when Static-X was on top of the world. So mad at myself for being so dismissive of his “solo” work. I didn’t understand the reasons why he couldn’t tour or release albums under Static-X at the time. Wayne’s death, followed by Scott Weiland, just destroyed me. Those two, plus Peter Steele and Layne Staley, really personally affected me. And Keith Flint of Prodigy, too. I don’t otherwise legit grieve people I don’t personally know. Still not over Wayne’s death. Never will be.
Better than the original
whoa, hey, let's not get crazy.
A respectable cover? Absolutely.
Better than the original? I don't know about that.
Edit: just caught the second verse. It's not so good.
NOT
NO
Skinny Puppy , Laibach, E. N. etc.
Ministry wasn't the originator of the genre. Kraftwerk lead the way with Ministry, NIN, and others taking the torch.
@TheStaticXRadio You know what they say about opinions....... LMAO
al's awesome n all but it doesnt beat wayne n burt.
Surpasses the original IMO.
Surpasses? Nah. Ministry rules.
This IS a pretty sweet cover though, hadn't heard it in years. Faithful to the original.
that's funny
Ministry version is better. But holy fuck I wish Wayne wouldn’t have died!
ehh ill stick to the original one
Ministy is beter.
Wayne Static & Burton C. Fucking Bell. ‘Nuff said.
I rock out so hard when I hear this song. Fucking love this song.
I was an impressionable youth with a moldable mind when I first heard the original (Ministry ). Now I'm just a middle aged man who FUCKING LOVES HEAVY METAL
RIP... This was the only good thing about The Crow 3
Michael Frizzell Yeah you are correct there.
+Michael Frizzell This and Kirsten Dunst.
There was a crow 3?
There was a Crow 6. Don't waste your time with any of the sequels. They all sucked.
@@TheBiblebyANAtheist Sad thing is, if you look into Crow: City of Angels there was a lot of potential. It could have been a great story, but the studio was up its own ass and destroyed it.
Man I miss Wayne alot. Very unique human being. RIP.
He sure was!
Still burning from the other side. I love and miss you Wayne
good cover, but of course Ministry's is better...
First heard the OG song on The Crow Salvation thinking it was sick, and here I am listening to a badass cover.
This sounds more like Ministry back in the day then when Ministry plays it live now.
I love Ministry, and, of course, Static X. Great cover!
Holy shit this is really good
Scarface.
This is a very nice cover!!
This song should've been used for the Scarface game.
Ministry meets Sandle-Sock Frat-Metal.
Just noticed Wayne wearing that lol.
You mean Ministry meets other Industrial bands. Static-X & Fear Factory are both Industrial. If you'd gone to college, you'd know frat boys don't listen to metal, nor wear socks.
Its fn awesome yall are back on tour0]0! I have 2 give it up 4 cyber Wayne]!! Eternal Static0!!!
love static - x an ministry the original is so much better especially live . still a good cover though
@Neroese1 actually the ministry version drags on too long and is not as catchy. just saying.
We are burning inside 🥵💥🔥.
burt rips vocal chords for lunch
My mommu said no.... whoopsies
awsome cover. did it justice.
i pointed to the design fragments of the ability to construct the pyramids what els is new had a dream as a youth around 5 walked under a hallways cross road from 3 options under the stone made a right turn ended up in a marshland picked up a shirt and a grooling white skined nome like thing reached out and grabed my neck so what
Static-x should haved covered Opeth's Blackwater Park before they died. I hope Fear Factory covers that song before they die.
