Very informational. Can you explain more about behavioral addiction and its impact on parenting? What are the different stages, and when should one seek assistance from a counselor?
I have two kids of our downstairs neighbour, who used to bring street dog onto the terrace where the owner of the building had kept chicken coop and would release it inside the coop , close & lock the door while they watch the dog killing the hens (when they were caught by our owner they apparently said they do it for fun) Kids were punished and owner stopped raising hens...and then similar things happened when he raised rabbits later (all of them mysteriously died) I read about the conduct disorder somewhere long time ago so I warned our owner that it is abnormal behavior and they need counseling...owner and that neighbor are distant relatives so they can't do anything apparently other than suggesting😕 Our country really needs education on mental health....who knows what they're going to do in future🤧
They are well on the path to being a psychopath. If they don't feel compassion towards other animals, I wouldn't expect them to show any feeling towards humans as well. Coupled with that the parental failure, I would recommend that you stay away from them.
