how can a lay persomn tell them apart though? i can see many scams happening here. i assume you can get both without black optics. would they be visually identical?

Hey man love your video but what is the main differences between the tfsi 40 vs tfsi 50 other than the horsepower?

If you are in the U.S., there is no 40 TFSI, only the 45, which is the 261hp model. The smaller engine is not a choice.

Greyareas27 I was using the configurator today and both the 40 and 45 TFSI were available.

@@yasintrotman7044 I guess you are right. Up until now, the standard engine was the 45 TFSI. I own an A5 myself and that was the only engine choice. Strange of them to suddenly offer a weaker engine.

Greyareas27 that’s what I thought too. I had an A4 allroad which I recently returned as it was a lease, and the 45 was the only engine for that aswell

The drive select button only affects steering and throttle response an the regular A5 and in the S5 it’s about a$2,500 option please advise

The drive select button does the same is the S5 if you don’t select the $2,500 sport package. If you select the sport package the drive select can also adjust the suspension firmness and how the rear sport differential works as well as exhaust sound.

Yes. The “exhausts” on the rear bumper aren’t real and the actual exhaust exits through downturned pipes.
