Hi Lisa, that fruit cake sure looks yummy and moist.😋Thanks for sharing your recipe. Going to try it tomorrow.👌🏼Is that a 10cm or 7.5cm height baking tin you're using? Also,do you wait till e fruit and caramel mix is totally cooled before you add in the flour?
Hi Roslinah Yes my steamed cake is for 6 by 6 inch. And if you wanted to use an 8 inch, multiply all ingredients by 1.8. Eggs can be tricky, I used jumbo Australian egg which is approximately 52g. So mathematically you will need 3.6 eggs (52 x 2 eggs x1.8 = 187.2g, round up to 190g). Best practise is to use 4 eggs, lightly whisk the egg and measure exact amount needed :) Hope this helps :D

I baked it a lot for my mom. Try 300 degrees F for 2 hours 30 minutes covered. Then uncovered the last hour.
Hi Lisa, can i pour in small cups . Tq
Hi Nalini,
Steaming took 4 hours, may not be suitable for small cups, in my humble opinion.
Cantik nya... cant wait to taste😋

Hi May I know when steaming is it high or low heat
Hiya,
Water just at boiling that create steam.
Hi sis nak tanya guna api kecil atau sederhana ye?
Hi Fara,
Api sederhana, asalkan air menggelegak.
Mana suktn.berpa cawn.bhan.nya.dik
Maaf ya.
Saya tak pakai sukatan cawan sebab sukatan cawan tak consistent and takut tak menjadi :(
