Well I mean... it _could_ protect against cuts from melee weapons like a machete (though not from concussion) and _maybe_ some low end projectile weapons like BB or nail gun? P.S. Let me say once again I greatly appreciate that you show all the trials and tribulations that go into a project, not just the smooth sailing parts and shiny(?) end result.
maybe cracking from heavy rusting, tho it would be even more useless it it was that rusty. could also be that the character cutted it themselves and all they had were extremely crude tools, so it ended up looking like that.
Pretty sure he's using it to just dry the paint faster. The paint particles are dissolved in a liquid and the paint won't dry until its been boiled/evaporates off.
- The irony of spray painting without gloves and weathering effect with gloves … Dude you could have worn gloves as well when spraying … 🤭 Also , worrying about possible not getting cut by the cut out on the bucket but not worrying about getting poked by the lock wirings on the internal side of the bucket … Could have wirelock from the exterior of the bucket too . 😅
its not a viable helmet in the game. the riot helmet or bone helmet are both cheaper and better. you don't want to wear a big bright blue bucket on your head in rust, you will get sniped from so far away.
