Thanks this helps I have an old under 538 pro and the squelch and gain comes and goes I am thinking it needs alignment, maintenance and retuned. It does transmit and receive. But my swr will not move on my tester. I tried to make sure it was not my swr tester on my handheld it is ok. So I am baffled but can’t tell if it is under 3.0 for safety this is why I hope I win the new cobra since I can afford a good radio.

That is what I did used my handheld and I received and reanimated clear.
