rotten vale has such a great theme tbh. The composer did a really great job in portraying the scene of a rotten eerie swamp, oh and croaking frogs
I love the battle theme for how chaotic it is too. I haven't gotten far in the game (getting ready to have the final battle with Nerg). Rotten Vale is my favorite area along with wildspire waste so far
Yesss David Wise would be proud. Feels almost like an homage to him (in a good way)
Imho it is more of an area made completely out of dead bodies
I always thought that it sounded more like rattling boned rather than frog croaking. After all it is kind of a bone graveyard

I think it needs some changes but that riff on piano is so characteristic it should definitely be kept in
one of my favorite musical moments happen in game. I fight Girros, and as soon as Clifford shows up, a massive violin buildup sends my adrenaline into overdrive before transferring to the large monster theme. Best. Theme. Ever.

What an awsome buildup
Now that I've come back for yet a 145th listen I understand why "where life comes to rest" wasn't put at the start and instead at the end. With small monsters abound starting this off, it makes for the gradual build to be more grand and powerful when things really get going. If that was thrown in the beginning then it would throw the rhythm all over the place even if the softer night version was played first. Playing it at the very end takes home that great powerful feel the music has as it ends. now that I understand this I think it actually is perfect as it is and have even more appreciation for it. Excellent job on this.🤙🤙

Honestly, this might be my favorite battle theme in all of Monster Hunter, period. If only Nerscylla was in World and fightable here...

damn, i'm quite sad that nerscylla didn't make an appearance in the rotten vale actually. A monster like her would've made sense to fight there
I'll say this again, but monster hunter needs like a billion more crabs and spiders, literally always have the coolest design....
@@RyansGamerShack Fuck yeah, I'd love a coconut crab and tarantula monster. As much as I love MH almost everything being a dragon or dinosaur gets a little tiring

3:33 to 3:54 this exacly part played when I delivered a critical hit on Odaragon with a longsword and he felt that attack was so epic.
This was only missing the mount theme but overall it's a great mix with really smooth transitions, I really like it :D

The start should ev been where life comes to rest day time and the end the night version. Ahhh would ev been perfect but I still love this arrangement. My favorite part is where the medium monster shifts to large monster and how large shifts into chase
